7-days ago, Lexi injured her eye, requiring emergency eye surgery to reduce pain and save her from this life-threatening injury. 4-days ago, Lexi was seen at Animal Eye Vet in Murrieta, where she was seen within 2 hours of calling and surgery within 30 minutes of being seen. They had so much compassion and kindness to us and our sweet Lexi. They identified additional conditions needing treatment missed by other vets. She had her eye moved. The biggest thank you to everyone at #animaleyevet for the love and care that was provided to us all. Today, she is present, calm, navigating the house, and trying to get through the dog door with her cone. She has left the safety of her bed to welcome us home with smiles and encircling our feet. Her eating and drinking habits are back to normal. We are blessed with our loving 15 year old sweet girl and will continue to cherish her until the end of her days. We love you, baby girl. We are so glad we found you Dr. Ashton and your practice. If your animal needs specialized eye care we 100% recommend coming here. We traveled 60 miles to be seen and it's worth the commute.

I am a long time customer and very grateful for the work of Dr. Ashton. She loves her job, loves the animals, is very knowledgeable, her prices are affordable, and only does necessary tests and procedures. A true veterinarian: threatened everything ranging from large cats at the zoo to fish. Yes, fish need eye care too. However, please keep in mind, she does not have a magic wand and vision deteriorates as part of the aging process. Sometimes, just as in people, interventions and treatments fail because Mother Nature is just not willing to change course. Do yourself pet a favor and buy insurance for your pet companion. I believe that you can buy it until your pet is 6 years old.

I couldn’t be happier with the Amazing service and attention our dog has gotten from Dr Ashton and her staff. Even when she was on vacation she still went above and beyond to help us. We will be a life long customer!

This Dr Ashton said our dogs had degenerative eye condition. And could go blind if I did not bring them both to her 4 times a year and buy expensive eye med. FOUR Years I trusted Dr Ashton. In Colorado top eye vet specialist said they don’t need any meds. It was excessive and unnecessary were his words. A Kansas City eye vet said the same. 6 years of worry they were going blind. This Dr should have her license taken away. The money we wasted thousands of dollars!!!
