We have an Irwin the π and a Lupin the Oreo π¦...yes ...they have middle and last names. Best fur babies ever. Thanks to Josh!! These boys are laid back and just a God send. My children adore them and so do I !!
I have been volunteering, fostering, and also adopted my little furbabies at Cincinnati Animal CARE. They are absolutely amazing and the love and support that they show the animals and the families who are either fostering or adopting is absolutely amazing. Kind and caring is an understatement. My little Suart had his leg amputated 2 days ago after me fostering for 3 weeks due to his leg being broken and he was in the best possible care I could've asked for. You guys have changed my life and I could never put into words how much yall mean to me and my family. Our little zoo has grown so much. Pictures are Mimberly Jean(Madam Mim), Rusty Shackleford(Ruston), Suart Lee(Suey), and Renly(Englewood).
I foster cats through the CAC and the volunteers are always so positive and helpful! Keep up with their Instagram for promotions and updates with their adoption events. Highly recommended the CAC for fostering and adopting!!
I went to drop a cat off on Saturday that was really sick. They refused to take the little guy. The dog warden finally came and picked him up the following day and they had to take him. I am very disappointed with their actions. they acted very unprofessionally. I do not recommend this facility. Shame on Hamilton county for supplying them with funds. .
No wonder there is so many animals looking for homes! I went to the Hamilton County animal shelter Humane Society to adopt a dog. I was there for 2 hours. By the time I finally got to talk to an employee and ask him if I could see 2 dogs I picked out, he told me that one dog I picked out and wanted to meet just got adopted out and the other dog I wanted to meet and possibly adopt I had to wait in another line that was another 2 hours long to wait in!! I was so frustrated I left. When does it take 4 hours or more to adopt a pet?!
I've been Fostering through CARE since October 2021. In that time I've fostered 19 dog's, 1 kitten, and recently did my first doggy day trip! I also adopted two of my fosters. The staff that runs this shelter are absolutely amazing! They will help you find the perfect dog or cat to foster/adopt. I highly recommend visiting Cincinnati Animal Care! Even if you aren't ready for a new pet, they have many fulfilling volunteer and foster opportunities for anyone who would like to help out! *Pictures are of my former fosters, enjoy! βΊοΈ
