We have gone to North Georgia Veterinary Specialists 3 separate times for 3 separate pets. The staff has always been friendly, thorough and informative. Unfortunately, this last visit, we had to make the difficult choice to put our beloved cat, Percy, down. The level of care that the staff provided throughout this dreadful experience was exceptional. The Doctor assured us that we were making the correct decision, and was there for any questions we had. A few weeks later, we received a card from the practice with handwritten notes in it from the staff offering their condolences. This practice is a place you rarely want to go - you're likely not there for a good reason. But the care they offer throughout the difficult times is exceptional. I have no hesitation in bringing future pets to them in the case of an emergency.

Great emergency vet. Ignore the low star reviews. High stress environment when you drop your pet off there, but they have always handled me well and I'm not an easy person when it comes to my pets. Money wise, love that they give invoices with left and right margins for procedures. Anyone that complains "they only want money", doesn't know business or services. As a logical person (that still freaks out over my pets), I love how they handle what care there will cost. Very transparent. The technicians are always friendly and inviting when my pets have had overnight procedures. They take as many calls as I can give them and pet my little buddies for me. Can't say enough good things.

My dog hurt her leg and I took her to North Georgia Veterinary Specialists since it's Sunday, my regular vet was closed and she needed immediate attention. They are the best! Everyone there was friendly and very professional and thorough. Dr. Coslett was excellent, and again very thorough. The cost was very reasonable. I've been there many times and every time was 5 star review worthy. I'm very glad they are there.

I went here twice, one because the tip of my dogs tail got shut in the sliding door, and most recently to put down my beloved husky/malamute mix, Hachi. They were compassionate the night before we decided to put him down, and the doctor (a female, I forget her name) who put him down on Sunday morning was just so kind. Thank you for making something awful as good as it can be and for caring for our boy.

My Golden Retriever is 13 months old.I live 2 1/2 hrs away. 5 hr trip. Had to have a $11,000 total hip surgery. It was worth every penny. They answered every question I had. He was there 3 1/2 days. And now we are starting our 12 week recovery. The whole staff was wonderful. Kristy was so helpful in me understanding what I needed to do for his recovery. Thanks to the whole team. We’re not done but we’re off to an excellent start. THANK U. Maverick thanks you too.

Absolutely incredible staff. I live over a hour away and would drive back to go to them in a heart beat. Their receptionist are so sweet and professional, the nurses were amazing and Dr.Keith Curcio had the best bedside manner. My girl is fighting cancer and if you have every had a heart break with finding something out like this you know the pain. Dr.Curcio and his staff made me SO comfortable leaving her with them and kept me up to date on how she was doing while in their care. I really could go on and on about how much I love them. Seriously so grateful UGA referred me to them!!
