Sad to see all these bad reviews. Dr. Mangum has saved my dogs and cats lives. He has been so great to my family and done so much for us. My mother has used him for years and he’s been wonderful to her as well. He even brought her baby home with him one night to keep an eye on her to see if she would pull through the night after a severe emergency surgery. I love this vet and he is wonderful. All of the “45 minute” waits are not always true and I went in there today and waited maybe 20 minutes, 10 to get into a room another 10 for the doctor.

My cat had a medical emergency and they saved her life. What a great job and at a fair price. They stayed late to work her in for emergency surgery. When you read the other reviews, some of what they say is true. This is not the most up to date office with new waiting room chairs. It is not totally organized, it does smell a bit like animals, but what I saw was clean. They take walk ins, and emergency cases. I dropped her off in the later afternoon and picked her up in the evening. She was seen when no one else would see her. A soon as I said she was a feral cat that had delivered kittens a few days ago and is having serious complications other vets basically told me, "Sorry". This doctor was so kind to us and to her. She needed a lot and they delivered. I'll be taking her and her kittens back for any other care they needs in the future.

I only took my dog to this vet because it’s where the previous owner took him, but I will not be taking him back. I made a yearly exam appointment for a Thursday afternoon. I took him and we waited for 45 minutes before I told them we would need to reschedule. There seemed to be no organization in how patients were seen, and they obviously did not honor appointments over walk-ins. I understand there’s emergencies, so I rescheduled for the next week. I took my dog in at 10:00 and they told me he’d probably be done around 1:00. At 2:15, I called to see if he was done and the receptionist told me the vet had not seen him yet. I told her I was just going to come pick him up and to tell the vet to just not to start on him. When I got there 10 minutes later, she said “oh, they’re halfway done, I didn’t know they’d already started when you called.” Everyone was nice enough after that, but I won’t be going back because they clearly are taking on too many animals and if appointment times aren’t going to be honored, I am wasting my time taking him. I should have read the reviews before I continued taking him to this place, because there are obviously a lot of issues based on reviews.

Larry is a great vet would certainly recommend him took care of my Max when another want to be vet misdiagnosed him, caused us a lot of heartaches and grief! I lost my best friend and Larry made sure he was comfortable and taken care of for almost week and half before he passed the facility is ,great, companionate and eager to help this vet is in it for the animals not the money and is very understanding thank you for all you did for us

They are the best they took great care of my dog and cat. And the cat got a little bit feisty and the vet calmed him down and took great care of him afterwards I really recommend for you if you love your animals with all your hearts but the smell was bad but great care.

Putting dog down. Had an appointment. Had to wait in the room with a nervous dog for 2 hours waiting on the doctor to get there. No doors, so you hear every animal howling and yelping. Always good for an already stressed dog. So I poked my head back to see if anyone was there. Always nice to see two dead dogs on the floor poorly covered with trash bags (will not include pictures because those are not my dogs), knowing that's how my dog will be handled. I would not recommend this place. We were forced to stay because no other clinic could see us, our dog was suffering, and all other clinics were booked. Paid $250 and they did nothing to resolve this failure on their part. Our dog was in pain and scared for 2 hours. As a personal note. I think the Doctor is a nice enough guy. I believe his fault is he over extends himself because he wants to help. It is not that he does not care about the animals or owners. I believe the problem is, because he does care, he takes on too much as a result leaves people feeling neglected. That's what we felt.
