So nice having a vet in the neighborhood who cares about their patients. The flexibility in scheduling and the ability to text the office has made my pet care so much easier. They make what can be an anxious process feel like a breeze.

I cannot recommend Metro Paws enough! While in for a routine vaccination they found a large mass in our Sammy-boy’s abdomen which resulted in an emergency splenectomy. Dr. Deresz and his team were very imformative and reassuring throughout the process. Espescially during recovery when we were panicking about something every five minutes. We switched to Metro Paws 4 or 5 years ago and have never regretted it. We really feel like the staff know and care about our pets.

I unfortunately have negative feelings about this vet. Where I appreciate the ease of scheduling and flexible hours, they severely messed up my dogs records which resulted in over prescribing medication and unnecessary out of pocket costs. They created two separate accounts for our dog- one under my phone number and one under my spouse’s phone number. My dog had to take daily medication so we have to visit the vet regularly throughout the year for refills and what not. Over the years it seemed every time my dog went in, they told us she was due for another shot or due for an annual checkup. When paying your veterinary specialist, you trust they are taking proper care for your beloved fur baby. In the beginning, my spouse and I would take turns bringing her until I became the primary bring our baby to the vet person. Once again they tried to tell me my dog was due for multiple vaccines and this time I was positive she had already had them about 4 months prior. The vet tech INSISTED she was due. I continued to disagree and sure enough they had two accounts for my baby for several years. They also showed zero remorse when I expressed concern they were about to double dose my dog with vaccines and how many times did this happen before? They said, it would’ve been harmless. What about the increased out of pocket costs they also showed no care to review? This review is long overdue and I will be shopping for a new clinic.

The entire office and the vet were so kind to Layla. The other vet we went to she was very anxious upon arrival and was never made to feel comfortable.... here was the exact opposite she was welcomed and made to feel comfortable throughout the visit. Very Grateful for their help and patience.

I’ve referred many friend to Metro Paws! I wouldn’t trust my dog with any other vets after the care, patience and expertise I’ve experienced at Metro Paws. All of the vets are so kind and take the time to answer any and all questions. You can tell they truly care about your pet too.

We appreciate all the kindness and speedy care that metro paws skillman provides. The vets that we have met since moving to town are friendly and patient as they deliver information. They are open 7 days a week which makes a huge difference for our pet who sometimes needs immediate (but not urgent) care. They seem to always be able to fit us in for appointments quickly. Thank you for all of the care that y’all provide!
