The team and veterinarians at Griffith Animal Hospital have been taking care of my fur babies for the past 6 years. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences every time. They fully explain the procedures and give accurate cost estimates before providing services. They’ve always answered my questions thoroughly and in easy to understand language. Their website is very easy to navigate to make appointments and order medications. The staff is so friendly and comforting towards my pets. Seriously the best vet clinic in Travis County!

I have been to a number of vet clinics in my day & I’ve never had a more positive experience than with Griffith!! The front desk staff greeted me with friendliness & allowed me to wait in the car with my dog (who has anxiety) until the doctor was ready & then came to get us. They even had a sweet little “welcome” sign for my dog since it was her first time. I thought that was a thoughtful touch. Dr Kelly was the vet & Erin was the vet tech. I can’t say enough good things about them! They were both so thoughtful & compassionate with their approach with my dog since she was anxious, giving her treats, talking to her with calm voices, petting her lovingly. Dr Kelly was thorough, patient, caring, professional, & thoughtful with everything she did. She is the perfect combination of knowledgeable, a good communicator, & open to any feedback & questions/concerns. I had been going to a different vet clinic for a long time; so I was nervous about finding a new one that I would like; but no doubt, I find one I like even better! Super grateful to Dr Kelly, Erin, & the front desk staff for your kindness, patience, & professionalism! I look forward to continuing to go to this clinic for my fur babies for years to come. :)

Dr Boehnke is the vet of choice for me. She took time to do her own research on my dog’s condition, and gave me contact info for people whose pets have the same condition. She reached out to me after appointments to check on my dog. She spends time during appointments to be sure you understand her conclusions and recommendations. She also will be truthful if she isn’t completely sure of next best steps. It’s a collaboration. The staff are also supportive, and helpful. And, I have found they remember my dog and me — when I’ve called and when I have arrived at the clinic. Caveat: I have taken my pets to Griffith’s for more than 25 years. Original owner (Bob Griffith) was a great vet. New owner is a corporation. But Boehnke treats pets and owners as if this is her business.

We took our two kitty cats here for years until they passed away at ages 14 and 15. Dr. Miner was our primary vet. We trusted her completely and cannot say enough good things about our experiences. She and the rest of the Griffith staff went above and beyond to take care of our fur babies and support us when they passed. I still have the sympathy card from Dr. Miner because it touched my heart so much. We recently moved from ATX and are adopting pup, and I really wish we could take the new little guy to Griffith, too!

Dr Miner is caring, calm and professional. Her assistant kept our puppy distracted while she got her shots. The front desk was friendly, patient and helpful

I have been taking our pets to Griffith Small Animal Hospital for about 17 years. This has meant more than one vet has seen our animals (1 cat and 2 dogs). The vets have all been quality providers and reasonable people, giving an opinion about my animals' care which I was allowed a choice on. Most recently our 15 and 5/6 year-old dog was in because she had a seizure and wasn't eating well. She has spinal issues/arthritis that affect her ability to stand and walk. Dr Krueger was honest and said there was really nothing more to do for her. She offered palliative care, and suggested we measure the good/bad days. I appreciate that she didn't push euthanizing, though it was clear she thought it was time. That same dog loped through the back yard this morning to eat and walked 4/10ths of a mile on the first walk of the day. [Edited the dog walk distance because I looked at the map to see how far we went, yet forgot to double it, because we walked back home.]
