This veterinary practice was recommended to me by a friend who used to work here. We normally have a mobile vet come to the house for annual shots and checkup but one of my cats needed dental work and that requires anesthesia. These folks were friendly, available, had a good price, and most importantly, took very good care of my kitty. They did a good job explaining pricing and procedures. All 3 of my cats had just had their annual checkup and shots with our normal (mobile) vet, so they also had to explain to me why the cat needed yet another exam, urinalysis, and a blood draw to get dental work done. Not fun or glamorous (You try again getting a cat to pee in a cup and see what that involves!). This was to make sure there were no underlying health conditions before putting my fur baby under anesthesia. I was happy with the aftercare as well. The veterinarian answered all my questions and provided after care instructions for the recovery. All in all a good experience and I'm very glad to have a brick and mortar veterinarian as a backup now to do things that my mobile that cannot.

I have been going to this vet practice for the 11+ years I have lived in Austin. The doctors and staff are all great. We usually see Dr. Noel. He is so great with all three of my dogs, and with me and my many questions. He spends more time answering my questions than my own doctor does for me! He does a great job listening and explaining, and demonstrates a great deal of empathy. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

Regardless of the number of questions or concerns I have, they always ensure that I feel heard and supported. Dr. Phillips was my veterinarian for over a decade, and he is truly exceptional. He exhibits genuine compassion towards both me and my animals. I will always cherish the kindness he extended to my pets during their illnesses or passing. Despite his busy schedule, he always took the time to reach out, which meant the world to me. Now with Dr. Green-Otero caring for my pets following Dr. Phillips' semi-retirement, I am equally impressed. Her attention to detail in explaining diagnoses, treatments, and expected outcomes has been invaluable. She consistently listens attentively and addresses any questions or concerns I may have. The doctors and staff at Northwest Veterinary Hospital are transparent about costs and avoid unnecessary tests to save time and money. They always ensure I am informed about my options and provide recommendations for the best approach to addressing any issues. I wholeheartedly recommend Northwest Veterinary Hospital to anyone in search of a vet. They are not just a service provider but a team of compassionate individuals who genuinely care about their work and the well-being of their patients.

Everyone at this practice is kind and compasionate. I trust the team to take great care of my pet. She gets very nervous at the vet, and the team takes extra steps to make sure she feels as comfortable as possible.
