The well informed staff at this clinic is absolutely wonderful and has treated my pup and I like family since day 1. I have been a life long exotic animal keeper (as well as dogs) and this is by far THE BEST veterinary experience I have had in San Antonio. I have multiple clinics in my area and still choose a 40 minutes for this team. The grooming services that Cat offers are extraordinary! She has never failed to amaze me with her quality of work and the passion she shows for her craft. Her work speaks for itself. She treats all her clients with love and I am always at ease knowing my dog is safe with her. I HIGHLY recommend this clinic to anyone in the area.

I took my puppy-child Simon in for a well visit, vaccines, and a groom. I was a bit hesitant because no groomer has ever been able to work with him. (He's aggressive š¤¦š»āāļø) The staff knew exactly what do and their groomer, Cat, did such an amazing job! I'm beyond thrilled! I will definitely be bringing Simon back for all his care! š«¶š¼

I was able to get an appointment the same day thank goodness! I was so worried about my baby after having blood in her stool. She is doing so much better after a few days of being on medications! I just want to thank the staff for being so kind and being able to get me in. I greatly appreciate it.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. They were able to take me the same day when my dog was having breathing issues. I'm a worst-case-scenario kind of girlie, so of course I was confident that my dog had a collapsed esophagus or something like that. The staff was calm and knowledgeable and my dog ended up having a terrible sinus infection which was preventing him from breathing properly. Anyway, we found our new vet!

Unfortunately this animal hospital is no longer consistent with the personal that run it. I had my pet Iggy going to this Hospital for almost 15 years. I could no longer count on getting an appointment when I needed nor could I see any of the same personal for year to year. It is a far cry from Dr. Wood or Laurel Sommer who was there to great you as you came in. The last day of Iggy's life I tried to make an appointment but the were too busy for a sick pet. This was not the first time I was turned away but for sure the last time. I was forced to go to the Blue Pearl or VCA and visit with the same Vets that were there on a consistent basis. I just want to mention that when I did go to Northwood the care was very good. My level of confidence has changed with this hospital. I would highly recommend to any pet owner to stay away if you want some kind of consistency for your loved one. I'm sure that the people who work there have no mal intent to perform like this but to the chain's BOD its just a matter of profit and loss.

This place is wonderful! I came from Dr Wood and was t sure at first but the staff is so incredibly nice and accommodating. I have 3 dogs, one with really bad arthritis. I come in weekly and the tech staff as well as the vets are always so kind and helpful. Iād recommend this place to anyone!
