The girls in the lobby were so cool and attentive on my dogs. I have two dogs and one of them used to have seizures in several times. We tried a couple vets here in Mexico but nothing really helped (Seizures were almost 3 a month and even thought about put him to sleep because seizures were bad) a year ago Draco, my dog had some tests done. After that visit we gave him some pills the veterinarian said and now he hardly has 2 seizures per year and definitely not as hard as they used to. For that and more thank you for saving my dog!! Now I’m trying to save some money so I can get my other dog for a dental work.

The Iota location of VCA has been wonderful for years. The staff know our pets, their demeanor is always very pleasant, and every quote they have given me for services (dentals and such) have been higher than the tab when I go to pay, rather than the other way around! These people will take care of your pets because they care! That may be the most important element for me, they care about my family!

This is the only vet’s office in San Antonio I would take my dogs to! They are accommodating, compassionate, and very thorough in everything they do. The staff are all so nice and they take the extra time to explain everything, give price estimates, and talk me through different options. I never feel rushed or pressured to make decisions. If you have pets and live in the area, I seriously recommend taking them to this office!

Very disappointed in this VCA. I took my sick dog in today. I asked them not to do any treatment without my authorization. The doctor called me and we discussed treatment options. She quoted a price for one of the options. I chose that option. She itemized the expenses on the phone. I wrote down every dollar amount we discussed. I go to pick up my dog and they charged $55 more than the quote was and they gave my dog an injection that was not authorized at the cost of $100. Very upsetting. We trust these people with our babies and this is what happens. I’m just so furious. I won’t go back. It’s simply not ok to do business this way. Grrr!!!

Everyone in the office from the receptionists, our Vet Tech Tracey, the assistants, Dr. Copeland who examined my 8 yr old pitbull Coco to Dr Johnson who performed emergency surgery on her was caring, kind and helped us through the worst of it all. I am more than grateful to still have our Baby with us! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

I come all the way from New Braunfels specifically for the care they provide my dogs. I cannot express my gratitude for the care, compassion, and authenticity of this practice. I am disabled, funds tight, and it can be hard to make it there but it is worth the trip for me. They understand about life getting in the way and provide options. I am so grateful for everything they do.
