Thank you all for caring for my loves!! The staff are forced to be in a weird situation with appointment times and multiple people and animals showing up at the same time. They did so well with being direct and dealing with the frustration of pet owners. I was a frustrated pet owner. Lol, I had two kittens, and it was picture day for my son, and I was juggling work. I assumed if I had an 8am slot, that would be for me to come in and drop off my kittens and leave. I was surprised that about 20 other vehicles and animals came at the same time and then had to stand in a very tight hallway and wait in line for approximately 30 minutes total ?.. Anyway they were gracious about it and did their job and were happy to care for the animals. Also, I was late picking them up the next day due to work. They were nice to me and directed me to wait and then even helped carry my kittens to the car! I just feel like they definitely need a new space and new system for drop-off times. It would create a lot less stress for staff? Just a suggestion! The staff was so great and they all took very good care of my babies and they did great dealing with a stressful time! Thank you all for what you do!

I've been attempting to get into contact with Twin Ports Spay/Neuter since the beginning of July and I have yet to receive any direct correspondence from any staff or volunteers. I have made numerous attempts to call, I've left voice mails, I've sent multiple emails. I received one email response early on which did not at all address the questions I had asked, and have not received any correspondence since then. I totally understand that they are likely a very busy organization and I appreciate the work they do, but it seems no attempts are made at all to communicate with people who can't just book an appointment outright. I'm extremely disappointed in the severe lack of responsiveness and accessibility from a company whose mission is supposedly to make basic vetting services more accessible.

MORE LIKE ZERO STARTS! We had used the clinic formally known as Northland Spay and Neuter for our 2-mini schnauzers, 1-spay and 1-neuter, within the last 3 years. At that time the service, cost, staff and end results were positive! Now, fast forward to September of 2024. The name has changed, location has changed and cost has changed. It is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a human on the phone. I made an appointment for our 6-month old male dog to be neutered September 12th, months in advance. Unbeknownst to us the clinic had no vet this day and all surgeries were re-scheduled, EXCEPT OURS! Took dog from Two Harbors down to clinic at 6:30 AM, clinic is dark and doors locked come 8 AM check-in time. We received ZERO COMMUNICATION ABOUT RESCHEDULE. No one will answer the phone! A staff member Lisa has been emailing back and fourth with me. Gave us a new date of October 16th. Our male dog is beyond needing to be neutered as he is humping EVERTHING IN SIGHT! She WILL NOT PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL TO DISCUSS! Beyond disgusted with this place. Now will try to get deposit back and go somewhere else. I will also never tell anyone ever to use this place. THEY DON'T GIVE A SINGLE SHIT ABOUT NOTHING.

They did awesome on my dogs spay and the incision looks awesome, however the arrival/drop off situation is bizarre... Everyone arrives at the building at the same time (its an insanely small building, looks like a garage from the outside and looks super sketchy lol) and they funnel you into the hallway and you wait in line to do the paperwork with your pet in the car, then 1 by 1 they have you bring your pet in to hand them off to a vet. The vet clinic itself is old and smells pretty musty, and shares a parking lot eith a tow yard so theres glass all over the parking lot (watch your dogs paws. Mine got glass in her paw pad). The lady at the fromt desk (seemed to be the "boss" ) was super rude and bossy even when she was spoken nice to and made small talk with. But...the 300$ vet bill is much better than the insane 600$ the vets around where i live ask 🙄

This was years ago but same building, but I had a cat brought here to get fixed. Come pickup day we couldn’t get into the building and when we looked through the windows that were upon the door some animals were out of their cages just free roaming around. There were papers all over the floor, the place was a complete mess. Meanwhile we couldn’t get a hold of anyone to get our cat who we discovered had also been roaming freely with other cats in the lobby/waiting space. After many phone calls, my mom, who was with me ended up calling the police. We got our cat back, and when we did she had a surgery line going from her neck straight down to her tail. They cut my cat from head to toe like it was a damn dissection. My cat didn’t walk for three months! Don’t go here! PERIOD!

My kitten was scheduled to get spayed today, and I made a mistake and forgot to add my partner (the cat is ours, we live together) “my account” I emailed and left a voicemail at 5pm the day before telling them my partner would be dropping off and picking up my kitten. I understand they have a 24hr policy for making changes, which would be reasonable if their website had a feature to “login to your profile”, which it doesn’t. When my partner got there she waited in line for over 30 minutes and everyone is instructed to leave their pet in the car. In what world does it make sense to have 30+ people show up AT ONCE to drop off their animals??? The woman helping my partner was extremely rude and told her to leave without any offer to remedy the situation. They also refused to give us a refund on the 75 dollar deposit and also wouldn’t put it towards another appointment. I’m not expecting special treatment, but honestly i do not understand why a cat needs 24hr notice for someone else to pick them up? Nobody is getting cats spayed with a nefarious intention. This place is horrible and it’s obvious from the second you make an appointment. Their instructions are extremely strict and rude, and there is no empathy towards owners, and especially not pets. They keep cats overnight because they drug them and don’t want to deal with people complaining. Not to mention the multiple reviews saying their cats came home covered in their own pee. They keep them for 24hrs but say nothing about having a littler box for them or any food. The fact that this place is still running is insane. Take your pets anywhere else, if you don’t believe me just read the thousands of horrible reviews. There’s a humane society who does reduced pricing for low income spay/neuter in st. paul and golden valley with much better reviews. MAKE THE DRIVE. FYI changing your company name to get rid of bad reviews is always gonna bite you where it hurts. Shame on you.
