We found a hairy woodpecker in dire distress on the ground in the road and I left these guys a voicemail once we got her into a carrier. Valerie was very fast to respond to us and we got the little bird into their care within 45 minutes of finding her. They even offer updates on the animals care and when they release them if you request it, this is such and amazing resource for injured and orphaned animals that I will be telling everyone about!

I brought in five ducklings who's mom didn't make it after being hit by a car. The staff at Wildwoods was so helpful. They do awesome work!

Pretty good place, however know that if you call this place, they will not accept an animal from superior Wisconsin. Ended up having to bring a turtle with a broken shell to Roseville MN which I'm sure was stressful for the animal. There's gotta be a way to change this rule. First gal I talked to was friendly, second was slightly rude because I was trying to bring an animal from Wisconsin. Just trying to save a creatures life.

What these people do is amazing. My kids found an injured pigeon and no questions asked Wildwoods was willing to take it and gave us information on how to check on its progress. They even offer to let who found the injured animal to release it if it can be rehabilitated!! This is a great way for our young people to be involved and how important all creatures are.
