I swear my neighborhood is a 'drop off?' place for unneutered/ not spayed cats.... Many homes up the hill around the corner are now 'rentals'... Lots of abandoned animals. Unfortunately, I agree with all of the comments of 'character' here... Why does this organization have mean employees with 'mean' attitudes? Do we need better training people skills here?? Aren't you chosen to be our local animal control helpers?... We need you!!...and we need your courtesy.... Like the young person mentioned, we did 'nothing' to you!... Aren't you hired to help us?... help the animals???... Please!!!!....we need you to like your job, and enjoy!! helping us!!.... God Bless!!
So my mother and I found a hurt bunny on 1-19-24 in the East Liberity area by Target with a broken leg and open wound. Called animal control, when they came, I went to explain to the guy how the leg was broke. He never acknowledged me never said one word, just walked passed like I was not there. Then after they caught the bunny which took 10 min, my mother said something to the other guy who spoke, then said thank you to the rude guy, he never acknowledged her so she said thank you again, still no word. Just plain and simple he was down right rude for absolutely no reason. I hope who ever is in charge reads these reviews and has a talk with their staff this is Unacceptable. I can see if we were rude first. Nobody told you to fill out the application for this job, you did. So if you hate it then quit, but don't take it out on us or the animals you are there to help. We did nothing to you. He wasn't a white guy or a black guy he was some other race, I'm not sure what. But his Rudeness was loud and clear. And needs to be addressed.
My neighbor left his dog outside in 20 degree weather last winter. I called and they responded within 30 minutes.
Thank you to Animal Control (Steve) for helping us with our dog. She scooted right out the gate when we were moving our porch furniture and ran down our street toward Liberty Avenue! Steve responded so quickly and was very alert, helpful, and courteous. Once we got our dog back, we found that she had injured herself. Steve (Animal Control officer) recommended a place that could treat our dog after hours. We found Animal Control to be well-trained, so helpful, and very professional.
Called To Report A Baby Deer That Was left Behind By Its Mother Because My Dog Got Let Outside to Go To The Bathroom In My Yard in the Middle of Putting up 400FT OF FENCE.. Lets ADD DOING IT BY YOURSELF. Being Surround by Woods She Chased the Mother. Didnt Go Near it Neither The Dog or I. I was able to get her inside before then... The Way The Person Working Answered The Phone Was Totally Unprofessional and Rude and Being Scolding Me For letting that Happening. Not Knowing the Situation. I tried to explain the situation and just got talked over. For "Taking Care Of Animals" they are Very Rude
My son's face was mauled by his mother's boyfriend's dog. Animal Control said there is nothing they can do about it. They will leave dangerous dogs around that attack children.
