Today my niece and I went to visit and purchase a few things. I myself saw a pecan tree and picked up a few the guy working in the store came out and loudly said " put them PECANS down. Ok!! Went inside and he still had a additude being quiet nasty. So opon leaving my niece and I proceeded to our vehicle and I guess the pastor/ highest said." Do NOT SMOKE ON THIS PROPERTY. Very nasty and very disrespectful. NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Needs to call someone to come and investigate them.

I used to stay there a long time ago and I can tell you this. It's not a shelter it's a labor camp and a cult the owner is a typical races cowboy with a big o hat and everything and he uses addicts and poor people with foodstamps and ssi to help him make money. The living situation is crammed and people have to shower infront of each other with no privacy it's barbaric. Someone should really report this place to police

It's was a nice place . I bought a few things in the thrift store . I help served Easter dinner . Then sat down and ate with them . There going a good job helping people there. The people getting the help was Evernote nice . I hung out even after dinner for a few .

First off let me say if I'm going to review you either done something extremely good or really mucked up because I don't do reviews. I am absolutely shocked. I read the reviews for this place and ignored that so many of them said negative things like they want you to spend all your time working for them instead of bettering your life or don't go there. I figured what the heck I'm not staying long term I can afford to spend one day working for them. I went there while it was pouring rain rain when the temperature was expected to get down to 10° above freezing and granted it was a little late but I cannot believe that a homeless shelter ran by a church would turn a man away in that kind of weather. I wasn't high or drunk either. I could have easily become hypothermic or got pneumonia both of which can kill a man. Wonder if the church has no compassion, human decency or mercy too. I spent the whole night soaked and shivering, thanks to this "rescue mission"

I stayed here once. They make you do meaningless chores. Rake leaves. Stripe copper wire. Etc. There was a derelict bicycle next to the scrap trailer and Billy told me to break it down. Then the owner accused me of stealing bicycle parts from it. It was a Huffy. I was riding a Giant. I told him there's nothing on that bike that would fit in mine and Billy told me to do it if I had nothing better to do. So I was just trying to be helpful. Owner accused me of arguing with him and I guess I'm banned now. You can't have a job there. Just sit around all day doing nothing. This place is crazy.
