We took my dog to Dr. Sutton for a year since we moved here. He diagnosed her with lymphoma a month ago & he can make her comfortable so we could have more time with her. She did great for 2 weeks then her links came back bigger & she was getting worse. May 4th she wasn't doing good at all so my husband called the vet he said to give her another steroid & call right before noon to let him know how she was, well we called & had some questions & we wanted to set up to have her put to sleep on the 6th so his office said when he was done with his patients he would call us!! He NEVER called us!!! I called Monday morning at 8a explained the situation I was told he would call when he got into the office!! Monday was one of the worst days for us & we were being held in limbo waiting for a call back. At 940a I called back to tell them for the doctor not to bother because we were taking her to another vet!!! What kind of vet does this to someone when he knows their pet is dying?!?! I won't ever recommend him to anyone because of this situation!!! His front desk called me at 1230 on Monday & I couldn't be bothered because I was grieving & was done with that office!!!!!
I had to be in Biloxi for business and my dog got sick. I took her to Beach View and Dr Sutton was amazing and got her meds filled in office and after the first day of meds she was much better. You want the best care when out of town it’s scary not knowing who that doctor is. I’m happy I found this hospital for Reba Grace and she is back to normal now.
These people are wonderful, I trust them with my dog, who has a difficult condition, they have a high level of care and I know my girl is in good hands.
We love Dr. Sutton! We have three mixed breed rescues and when we moved back down here after living in Oxford for a while and getting top notch care at Bottletree, we were trying to be very selective in who we went with for our vet. My mom suggested Beach View, formerly owned by Dr. Broomfield, who had been our family vet since my grandmother started taking her animals to him back in the 70s! She said that the Suttons were just as excellent as Dr. Broomfield and I have to agree. Our babies consist of two small dogs, a chihuahua mix and a terrier mix and one very large hound mix and trying to cart them anywhere together can be a bit of a nightmare- but the staff was so helpful with trying to wrangle them, gave us great recommendations when it came to medication/vaccines. They weren't trying to get us to buy the biggest and the best and the most expensive, they told us honestly and tried to get us the best bang for our buck- the most effective for a reasonable cost. Dr. Sutton is great with the dogs and the staff are clearly all animal lovers as well. I also love that they own the emergency clinic up in Woolmarket- when our little terrier mix got into a dog fight and ended up with some pretty nasty bites, we carted her up there at 7 PM and were surprised to see that Dr. Sutton was manning the station that late in the day! It's very clear he is dedicated to your pets and is willing to put in the hours. He was so sweet with our baby and was gentle with her after she was obviously shaken up and gave her great care. We would not choose any other vet on the coast.
I love this place. I recently at another Vet and I didn't feel like the people loved my fur babies at all. This place made me feel right at home and my babies even got ID cards. Too cute! Highly recommend! Also the Vet was able to tell me alot about my babies that no one had bothered to share. They also offer discounted meds.
My kitty turtle was well taken care of here even if I did show up really early by mistake lol
