Earlier this week, my cat Ozzy started behaving strangely. My regular vet didn’t have an opening until the next morning, but I was concerned because he has a history of urinary blockage, so I called Texas Corners VCA. They were able to get me in a couple hours later. Ozzy saw Dr. Tom, and he and the whole staff were so great. Ozzy can be a bit dramatic, and they handled all of hissing and howling with such care and love. Some of his lab numbers were a little strange and Dr. Tom ran them a few times to ensure accuracy, and explained the whole process, and reassured me along the way. Ultimately, Ozzy ended up being totally fine as far as we can tell, so everything turned out great. Dr. Tom even called me a couple days later to check up on him, which meant a lot, as they know he typically sees another vet. I was SO impressed with the care that my boy received here! The prices were in line with what I expected to pay as well. I’m so glad my boy is back to normal, and I appreciate the staff at Texas Corners VCA for all they do!
Taking our dog to Texas Corners Animal Hospital under the care of Dr. Thomas Robinson and their competent and wonderful staff was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We have a large breed senior dog that needed a lot of extensive dental work. We were extremely concerned because of her age, size and amount of work that needed to be done. One of our main concerns was the time she would need to be under sedation, that concern was also very much shared by the doctor. Durning the initial exam and evaluation Dr. Robinson took a great deal of time to explain exactly what his action plan would be making sure he addressed all of our concerns. I literally can’t say enough good things about this outstanding and impressive doctor. We are beyond thrilled at his amazing work. The entire practice took such good care of our precious baby. We are forever grateful and have absolutely found a home at this practice. Thank you!
They took wonderful care of my cat after his terminal diagnosis. The front desk staff, Misty, Marnie, and Luca always were prompt and helpful when I called or came to the office. (I'm sure there's more but I didn't catch your names). Dr. Brett and his assistant were wonderful at his initial emergency appointment, appologize I didnt catch the assistants name. Brett always returned my calls and offered me counsel for my multitude of questions. Unfortunately when it came time to say goodbye Dr. Brett wasn't working that day, he however informed Dr. Tom all about Theodore's case. Dr. Tom's assistant was kind and helpful preparing for Theodore's final visit...again sorry I didnt catch your name. Dr. Tom was so patient and kind and allowed ample time for us to say good bye. He let us know about potential other treatments even though realistically it would have caused more suffering and he was very honest about it. He even helped Theo on to the counter when he couldn't quite make the jump himself...then he went to go sit in the sink. The euthanasia procedure was calm, quiet, and he even allowed me to hold my kitty in my arms as he left. I wasn't expecting clay paw prints and a memory box after the service was complete. Thanks for making such a dark time a little brighter.

Absolutely terrible experience recently. My medication for my heart failure dog was denied which I completely understood since I hadn’t been there in awhile. I called to find out why and to schedule an appointment if that was what was needed and was met with nothing but rudeness. I spoke to someone named Marney who was very cold and said to me “I don’t know what you want me to say” and told me I couldn’t schedule an appointment , then eventually hung up on me. I called back to just get the name of who I spoke to because me being a receptionist myself for over 5 years, have never felt so disrespected and would never want to make a client feel that way and was automatically put on hold for 15 minutes. I then got transferred over to Dr Brett for some reason who I had seen every time as our regular doctor. I saw a completely different side of him and he was extremely rude to me and acted like a total know it all. His first words to me were “well I don’t know the situation but if she hung up on you there was obviously a reason. Absolutely unprofessional and rude. I asked to file a complaint and was told by Dr Brett that he wasn’t going to do that and then acted like he was doing me a favor by prescribing the medication I was denied. This was not at all the issue and I just wanted to know who I originally spoke with who hung up on me, so I could address this with the manager. She lied and said that I yelled at her which I did not.l and would never do. People are going to be emotional when they are talking about their family, if you can’t handle that and relay information professionally, then you should look for a new job. I left my new number with Dr.Brett for the manager Misty and received an email the very next day saying I couldn’t be reached because my number was out of service, probably because they never called the number I left. I have had the same number for years. Not impressed at all and ended up switching the next day to VCA Portage and have had a much better experience there than I ever had at Texas Corners. Their receptionists also know how to not hang up on customers. When I got to Portage VCA, I was told that Texas Corners has completely over exaggerated my dogs heart murmur and he apparently has tons of time left instead of a little over a year like I was told by your office. My name is Stacey Davis if you would like to verify anything.
I had the best experience with the vet and staff on one of the hardest days of my life. They were very compassionate when I had to have my oldest dog put down. They gave me all the time that I needed to spend with her until the end. They were very caring even when they gave her back to me to take for cremation. I can’t thank the staff enough for there kindness. Thank you again Texas corners vets for ur service.
