Don't EVER work with company. My dog was taking out of the dog park and I had been calling the animal control for a week asking was my dog with them this was the week before Labor Day that Monday was Labor Day and the next day ( Tuesday ) I came in looking for my dog that's when they told me that they had my dog. Even though the week prior they told me they did not have my dog. The woman there told me I would have to pay a fee in order to get my dog back we did not have the money and they said that we could do a contract yet they still never gave me my dog. So we left till we could get the money. By this point we've already claimed that's our, who she is and where she was taken. The following week I had been calling to see if they're going to be any more changes or fee of days that I needed to know about getting my dog they never answered the phone instead they left me on voicemail for over 2 hours and I had to call multiple times and sometimes they wouldn't even answer the phone. Yesterday I had to have my mom call off a different number so they could answer and they told me I would have to pay $77 to come get my dog the very next day today I came in to get my dog just for them to tell me that they didn't have her or somebody adopted her or they euthanized her even though we already claimed her and said that we could pay the fee later on. This is bad customer service and I didn't know when we started getting rid of other people's dogs after claiming them. The staff was horrible when it came to helping me find my dog no one wanted to help me find her. The whole week that she was missing I called and no one gave me any type of answer about her even though they had her since the day she got lost which was August 26th this company is honest horrible and I do not recommend leaving your dog there.

We've adopted 2 cats from this shelter as well as recently had to call about a loose dog that we had contained. All interactions were very cordial and professional, and we were super impressed with how quickly an officer was able to come out and pick up the dog.

I called Kalamazoo Animal Services several times about loose dogs running through my neighborhood and everytime they handle the situation poorly. Never actually helping just catch and release. I had an officer hang up on me because I cursed twice and the profanity was not directed at him. He didnt actually help. He just mentioned that I could be charged with animal abuse for defendin myself or for injuring the dog. No results after multiple complaints. The dog has tried to bite my animals and neighborhood kids multiple times. I guess I will need to handle myself. Thanks for nothing. I hope future employees have more professionalism and yield results. My 3 month old kid will be protected against the loose animals in my neighborhood regardless of "what I willl be charged with."

We adopted our Chessie (aka "Puddles") 6 months ago today. She is a delightful cat and brings us much joy! She is affectionate, playful, talkative, clean, and very fast! She loves to watch our 15-year-old goldfish, Maui, whose aquarium I had to secure with cardboard on top. She likes to play with our dog Hershey too. She is so cute and lovable, and we are so thankful to have her! Our lives are so much happier with Chessie! Thank you so much for rescuing her so we could adopt her! Wendy and Mike Asmus

I adopted a Puppy from here and I'm very happy with Him and the adoption process. Everybody was very curtios and the facility was clean aa it should be. They also provided Me with some toys and products for a Dog Thank You So Much.

I didn't get the name of my the officer who came to my call but he was very helpful and you could tell he really cares about animals and people. He handled the call well. I'm very appreciative Edit his name is Marshall!
