I've been taking my two senior cats to QVAH since moving back to Philly in early 2022 and I've been really happy with the relationship I've developed with the practice. The doctors have all been great: patient with questions and able to explain things clearly. The support staff have also been fantastic, from the vet techs to the crew who manage the front end. They've also been super accommodating with fitting a cat in on short notice when we had serious issues that didn't rise to the level of an emergency vet visit.

Dr. C. and the team are awesome! The reception is efficient and welcoming. We have 4 kitties who are all patients & established with QVAH. They are so accommodating and kind to our family. Thanks for being the best vet practice in Philly!

Have been taking my dog here since he was a puppy 4 years ago. Up to this point I would have rated this place a five star and have recommended many friends take their animals here. However, that 5 star rating was all due to basic appointments for shots and things that weren’t emergencies or super time sensitive. Since I finally had a bit of an emergency and saw how this place treats those cases my rating has changed to a 1 star since zero isn’t allowed. My dog was not acting normal so I called the office and they said send a video before bringing him in. Once the vet was able to look at the video she called me and told me that she could tell something was wrong and that my dog was in a lot of distress (and potentially pain). I was then told I had. 2 options: come in for an appointment in 7 and a half hours or go to the emergency vet. Instead of waiting 7 and a half hours and potentially have something be really wrong with my dog I went with option 2 and am going to spend 10x the amount of money. The biggest gripe with the whole situation is the last time I had a routine appointment I waited over an hour after the scheduled time because they had a few emergencies come in (although the vet today said today that they don’t have space for walk in emergencies which is extremely concerning) and on their website there’s a nice long piece about how they will fit you in if your dog is having an emergency which is apparently a lie and just on there to make you feel better. So if all you need from your vet is a routine visit then this place will work. But if anything ever goes wrong and you didn’t plan ahead and make an appointment I’d probably look for a different vet, which I will now be doing.

I brought my tiny just 2 pound Chihuahua for her yearly. She is quite elderly and a phenomenal little spirit. Dr. Goldman, was concerned about a minimal weight loss and suggested adding some wet food to her diet. I took his advice and she loved the addition. Great compassionate service. From a pet sitter and dog owner, I really can’t say enough!! I originally switched to QVAH during the pandemic because they were the only vet that allowed an owner in with their pet. As an owner of a difficult rescue, I wasn’t handing over my baby to a stranger and not having free exchange of speech with my vet. Switching vets was the best decision I made and I switched all of my clients animals to them! They have very accommodating appointment times, the entire staff entire Patrick is amazing!! Easy parking in the area. And their prices area on par with other vets. If you’re not happy with your current vet and thinking about switching, don’t think twice about coming to Queen Village Animal Hospital!!!
