When I first started taking Zorro, my covid 3 year old Australian cattle mix who stayed with me 24/7 since age 6 weeks old to the daycare, he was mad. I snuck peeks from across the street and could see him pacing/searching/waiting/having a tantrum. He barked as if saying, "What did I do?! I demand to know! Where's my mama!" Thankfully, the staff was professional, patient, fun and loving. I was reconsidering leaving him at all and really expected them to boot him. But after 3 visits something switched. Now, he beelines it to the building and happily trots off without looking back. And when I come to pick him up? He's so happy and playfully grabs the leash to prance happily around the room. But then he wants to go back in :-O What? The staff 1) ensures health & safety at drop off 2) creates a loving, playful, joyful environment and 3) seems to truly love and care for all the doggies. Thank you so much, staff at H+P, for making it possible for me to leave him with peace in my heart. I would highly recommend. It's 2/7/24 and he's been going since 9/15/23!

My one year old Willow has been attending daycare at Heart and Paw - East Market lil over three months and no wonder he never gets tired of going there. Play coordinators are really professional and care Willow's needs. They even learned some of the commands in Korean for Willow. Lovely group of people that truly care about our four-legged friends!

We have been bringing our pup here for daycare over the past year and she absolutely loves it. The staff is fantastic and they take such good care of her. She’s anxious around new people at her baseline but the fact that she eagerly pulls to get inside Heart & Paw for her daycare session is a testament to how well she’s treated. Plus the daily photo updates are always such a treat!

We couldn’t recommend Heart and Paw more! Our dog has been coming here for Play for the past several years. It was an easy initial adjustment and he still gets so excited every time he goes to daycare! The Play team is amazing and he clearly loves getting to see his dog and human friends. We especially love the photos and report cards we get each day! In addition to Play, we also started using Heart and Paw as our vet, and it has been a great move ever since. The doctors are so attentive, and it’s easy and convenient to schedule appointments, stay up to date on shots/check-ups, etc.

Exceptional grooming by compassionate, experienced staff. My dog has multiple health issues due to his advanced age and requires special handling, especially for tracheal and upper respiratory sensitivity. The groomer, Izaiah, clearly understands the needs of senior dogs and did an excellent job with a gentle approach that put my dog at ease. Rebecca and the front desk team are pleasant and professional. Excellent communication and easy scheduling. Highly recommended!
