Description Wildlife Rescue’s Vision is that humans come to see that we are members of a vast life community, that we experience the proper gratitude and respect for this community, and that we live in a more appropriate and compassionate manner in relation to the whole. WRR was founded in 1977 in San Antonio, Texas. Since 2001 its primary base of operations has been located on 212 acres near Kendalia, Texas, a property which was purchased through the generosity of three of our supporters.

My husband found an orphaned duckling and called this facility. He left a voicemail and they called him back fast! The women we spoke to at the recuse are super friendly and knowledgeable. I felt really good leaving this little guy with them!

Today 8/19/24 at 166 Babcock Rd-Brought in an injured baby Mocking Bird. Awe poor baby. I know he is in good hands now! Thank you all from Wildlife Rescue for all you do for all helpless little animals! Plus thank you for giving them a chance for a healthy thriving and happy life!

Referred by 311. Left a message with the situation. They guided us how to handle the baby skunk to not get sprayed since the situation suggested it needed help thanks to their recommendations. Dropped off, donated, and was thanked from bringing the skunk in. Great team there

I have brought many animals here in the course of 10 years. I'm thankful for a caring staff who will hopefully be able to save the hatchling red ear slider turtle I brought in. At least in their care he will have a chance. Thank you for what you do!

I rescued a baby squirrel in my yard and was advised to bring it to this facility for assistance. The staff there were incredibly friendly and eager to help. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I am hopeful that the squirrel will recover.
