Yes, I was denied a puppy. Because I don't have a vet for my 13 yr gsd. Hmm, people don't do a good job listening here. I put everything on the application, and the person tried to tell me that I had to give them vet information. I don't have. I had to explain it to her. She judged me and didn't look over the application well. I promised to get our puppy in for the vet visit. I understand they need the attention as a puppy, but my gsd is a home dog. If he were to need a vet, I'd take him. He didn't make it to his age by neglect. I know how to take care of an animal. Never buy an animal from the Crossed Paws Pet Rescue. They're overfilled and don't pay attention to help find loving people and homes for these pets. I thanked her for her time and headed out of there. I have no time for their neglect. Their response to my review is proof that they don't pay attention to what's written down. No where did I say: you don't pay attention to these puppies or dogs that are in your care. Also, I was clear my gsd is 13, and I don't have a vet. Clearly, I know what I'm doing. I know where to shop for and how to give vaccines, grooming, heartworm, and flea care... Not to mention that I asked about and complied with the rules.

I responded to a post for an adoptable dog after instantly falling in love with her. I immediately followed their process of submitting an application and notifying my vet that they may receive a call to confirm my eligibility as a responsible pet owner. I received a call the following day and met Sky! Sky and I immediately hit it off instantly, and I was on my way with her in no time. I am so glad I went the rescue route!

We adopted Lexie from here a few years ago and I could not have asked for a sweeter more loves or dog. The whole experience was easy and painless and now I don’t know how we ever lived without her. So glad we came here.

What a wonderful dog rescue this place is!! I got so lucky & matched with the best dog ever! I truly appreciate the fact that the owner is very selective about who adopts the dogs she saves. Adopted our sweet pup from this rescue who brought in him and 3 of his brothers who were abandoned. Adoptions came with a neuter and first round of shots and in our case, a puppy diaper (he was so excited to go to his furever home), and he peed on me lol
