T this is the best shelter that I've ever been in you'll get to stay there all day all night and for as long as you need to to find housing. I personally have been here right now for 4 months and I can stay as long as I need to get housing. They help you get section 8 or any other vouchers that are out there like the project based voucher that pays for your apartment for free for the rest of your life it's a very nice place here comfortable they accept couples that accept dogs cats.
Best shelter I ever stayed at I would say it's a five-star shelter. They are liberals so they take people as they come they accept couples and let them stay in the same room. They also accept animals and you can bring your animals with you. They accept single fathers with children and single women unfortunately they do not accept single males. They have great food three times a day have breakfast served everyday at lunch served every day and amazing dinner to served everyday. Staff is amazing and goabove and beyond for people.
My daughters & I received great personalized service & care. They assisted us at a time in our lives that we truly were in need of services to have a home, not just a place to stay that treated us w/dignity, not looking down at us!. Thanks ever so kindly for your support. A great staff of supporters as well. To God be the Glory!!! Bonita...
I cannot find words to express how thankful & grateful I am for the Shelter of Flint! I received everything I needed & then some. The staff are top notch & angels in disguise! I received life changing assistance & made life long friends! I intend to volunteer so that can possibly give back a portion of the love & help that I received. Ivy Hudson 2018
Horrible staff. Especially Paul. He's a disgrace and should not be working with people who are homeless. He's abusive verbally and they look for things you do wrong just too write you up and discharge you.
Very friendly staff here, and they help with necessities such as clothing, hygiene items, diapers, and etc. if needed. You get three meals a day. All is well if you follow the rules, remember to sign in and out/or whatever is needed, avoid gossip big time.
