Adopted a dog a week ago. He had been in the shelter a while and even returned for being “destructive”. We brought our other rescued dog down to see if they got along. They did, so we adopted him. He was very skittish at first but is getting better. He is very sweet. We have seen improvement in his behavior already which is rubbing off from our 6 year old dog. Still needs some more attention and training but on the path to be a forever furbaby at our house.

We adopted our puppy from there in September. Her name was Coral, but we changed it to Lily. The guy that helped us was very nice and helpful. I wish more people would adopt from there, it truly broke my heart to see all of those animals that needed homes.

The staff are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! The staff goes above and beyond !!! One staff member was so concerned about my dog she came in twice at 3 am to be with him,5 hours prior to her scheduled shift !! My one and only complaint is I think they may be using bleach to clean....my dog came back to me with scabs on both elbows and his paw pads were bleeding.....typical for bleach burns on dogs. But outside of that the did EVERYTHING possible to help him w being depressed and not eating while we were separated. Completely grateful for the care that was given to my dog !!

We recently went just looking for a dog and we got the sweetest girl. The staff was so helpful. I was pleasantly surprised when the adoption fee was waved as part of a special they were running. If you're looking to add to your family, check here first. I highly recommend!

We are going on year 2 of our beloved rescue and now can’t imagine our lives without our Copper. We have been so blessed by all the love showed to us through the process. Thank you all for your hard work and your devotion to the animals of the shelter.

Picked up my sweet baby on Friday, she was dead by Sunday. After spending $300 at the emergency vet, they told us that she was so infected with parvo that the results came up before the control on the test. Now my house is contaminated and my other fur baby is at risk. Receptionist was sympathetic but nothing was done to rectify the situation. We are heartbroken.
