DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. THEY LET OURS DIE!!!! We took our sweet Molly there 4/10/24. She had been diagnosed with pancreatitis. Our regular vet felt she needed to be watched closely overnight so she recommended we take our girl to this place since they have a staff all night. We picked our girl up from McLendon at 5:30 and arrived at this place 20 minutes later. At 8:00 they called to tell me my dog died. She was alone in a cage when she died. Had we been told she was critical we would have never left her there. We would have made the difficult decision to be with her in the end. My husband and son went immediately to pick our girl up and they were more concerned with the remaining $300 balance on the $585 estimate they gave us. McLendon sent all her medication for the night. All this place was supposed to do was monitor our baby. They had her 2 hours and still charged us the full amount. When my husband and son arrived, the staff was laughing and joking in the office. So not appropriate. I will regret for the rest of my life taking my baby girl here. There is zero compassion or care. The Richey’s, Tuscaloosa, Al
Dr Hinton and the staff took wonderful care of our puppy. We were there on a holiday weekend night. Everyone was so caring. They explained tests, options, and aftercare all thoroughly. I would very much recommend this location if you have a pet emergency.
Our dog had gotten hurt pretty bad on his face and it was on Memorial Day weekend. That means our vet in Fosters was closed. We went to Emergi Pet Vet they had taken care of our smaller dog a few years ago that had been bitten on her face by a copper head snake. They were pretty busy but got us in as quick as they could and did a fantastic job on Scooby's face, a lot of stitches and a tube in face so he had to be put to sleep for the procedure. So if you have a pet emergency I highly recommend them they are very nice and have a great staff.
I had to take my cat Precious. I was a wreck when I arrived. Everyone from the staff was great. We didn’t have to wait long and they explained the treatment plan with me along with the cost. Glad Emergi Pet is there for our fur babies. Would highly recommend 😸
We were so lucky to have found Emergi Pet during a very scary time! Dr. Wendt and the staff at Emergi Pet saved Dexter's life and connected us with Animal Medical Center to follow up while we were traveling out of town. They were patient, caring, and kind throughout this scary and stressful emergency. Dexter is now doing much better and has a good quality of life now that his condition is controlled with medication. We are so grateful for Emergi Pet!
Rescued a pup that got bit by a snake and Dr. Wendt, Dr. Mordecai, and Dr. Hinton did an amazing job saving her life. Very understanding & compassionate throughout the entire process! Before and after pictures :)
