I cannot say enough good places about ROAH. They were the ONLY ones willing to take in my dog on a weekend when he was having a severe allergic reaction last summer, even after calling multiple Urgent Care Vet locations. Other places said we'd wait up to 6 hours just to be seen. Not ROAH, I called and they were able to get me in within the hour. It's a smaller practice, but the vets and assistants always give top notch service. I've been back for a few routine visits, and I won't go anywhere else!

Janice Collins is the absolute GOAT. She's responsive, helpful, she listens to her clients and she loves our pets. Never had a bad visit with Janice. She got my boy in for an unexpected Surgery the next day and she's been absolutely amazing through the whole process. Can't recommend enough.

Yesterday, my little dog, Picasso died. Dr. Collins and her team at Royal Oak Animal Hospital were the kindest, most helpful, and compassionate people. Over the years, the care given to my dogs has been exceptional and I use Dr. Collins for my veterinarian needs. Yet, yesterday, Dr. Collins compassion and exceptional care was extraordinary. I cannot thank this team of Doctors and staff for their care. I am deeply moved by your compassion and will always use your Hospital to ensure my animals have the care and support from this team.

We have been very pleased with the actual veterinary services we have received. That part is top notch. But it's a good idea to call first. It can be extremely frustrating to leave work early only to arrive during "business hours" to find the door locked.

I'm new in town and my cat is experiencing his end of life. I've met 2 vets here and they were both great, as is the staff. They were able to squeeze me in for an urgent visit, and they took the time to discuss end of life decisions. Highly recommend.

The worst animal hospital I've been at... if you need the insurance company, chewy or whoever reach out to them to get some clarifications, prescription, documents, etc - forget about it, they will never reply or pick up the phone. I've been there twice - I have no records, no examination results, no receipts available online on their portal and it's been a while! They will never tell you the price for the medication or their services beforehand, it's always a surprise in the end of the visit. They dont work with insurance companies directly, I have my claim opened for 2 weeks now and the insurance company is still trying to reach out to them for some clarifications... if anyone knows a good vet in Royal Oak please advise.
