Blue Cross Animal Hospital is fully equipped with a modern laboratory to perform all kinds of advanced blood work, x-rays, urinalysis and fecal checks on site. Regular dental cleanings are advised to prevent gum disease and its effects on the heart and kidneys.

I have been coming to Blue Cross for about 3 years now. I never have to worry about the care that my cats receive here. We recently had to have some dental work (tooth extractions) done because both have stomatitis. The entire staff works so well together and they took such great care of my furbabies. Having a vet that you can count on to be knowledgeable, capable, and clearly invested in the well-being of your pets is so important for both routine check-ups and involved procedures. I feel very lucky to have Blue Cross to help keep my cats healthy!

I would give zero stars if allowed. I have been taking my cat and dog here for the last 4 years. The last couple of visits I was very dissatisfied. Each time there is a new vet onsite, when the receptionist calls with results they are never able to answer my questions. They will not approve prescriptions over the phone so it is difficult to order on-line resulting in having to purchase from the vet office. There prices are astronomical. I will not be taking my pets back here, I was told my dog has two different problems and I just don't know if I actually believe there is anything wrong with her or if they are just trying to get me to bring her back every 3 months for test to be ran again. I have also asked for a dog to removed from account and I continue to get text related to her and reminders. I haven't had the dog for over 3 years and told them so many times to please remove her from my account. This vet office is by far the worst place I have ever been to.

The vet and technicians took amazing care of my dog for her dental cleaning, which required anesthesia. It was my first time having her go under the procedure and I was really nervous, but they patiently answered all my questions and helped reassure me. Everything went great and I can tell my dog was really well taken care of!

We’ve been taking our dog here for 8 years and have always had a good experience and fair prices. The staff is knowledgeable and cares about the customers they serve. The last couple of visits though they seem extra busy, which is good for business, but need to schedule carefully to avoid longer wait times. No pup (or human) wants to hangout at the vet!

Very overpriced and inconsiderate staff. They will tell you the rabies vaccine is required ($60) every year, but it's legally required every 3 years. I have an indoor cat who was vaccinated last year and they refused to see him if I didn't agree to get another shot. Their basic body function blood panel is about $55 more than other vets. They're clearly in it for the $$ and not the welfare of the animal. Won't even help you with their heavy doors while carrying a cat carrier in/out of the building. Frustrating visit and will not be going back.

**EDIT TO OWNERS REPLY** (Full review begins after the line below) Just because the doctor did his “explanation for free” does not excuse the ridiculously high prices, giggling of disrespect, attempted charge of another X-ray, AND non-transparent pricing of procedure. You have our records/information on file, you can be the one to contact us as we have the choice to go somewhere else, you can call the number on file or ask to speak to the relative who was there during the appointment. This response was incredibly unbelievable, we’re changing the star rating from 2/5 to 1/5. ——————————————— This review will primary be based on the doctor of this facility as everyone else was super friendly, easy to understand, and made the experience quick and easy. (I’ve divided this review into 2 parts, one is a long summary and the other is a short summary) Long summary: We had brought our dog to this animal hospital from a different one to get a price estimate on his surgery for his kidney stones. Before we made our visit, we made sure to send this building his x-rays so that the doctor could determine what happens next. At first when we spoke to the doctor, we had discussed the price of my dogs surgery, his surgery cost alone was well over $1,800, which is already quite expensive but we were willing to work with it. After the doctor goes and comes back, he decides to discuss with us multiple other procedures that all costed a ridiculous amount of money to perform, once I heard the words “another x-ray” I simply knew I was going to hear a whole load of nonsense. The x-ray at this building cost $220, despite us already having an x-ray from a different vet, the doctor attempted to charge us for a second one. All the doctor did was explain a bunch of procedure BEFORE performing the surgery, when we had asked how much all these things would cost, he didn’t even give us exact prices and started making up numbers. We couldn’t even get a set price on the grand total which was extremely shady, when we continued to try asking again the doctor started gigging at my dad thinking that my dad isn’t understanding what he is saying. At that point we decided to leave and take our business somewhere else. They want over $3,000 in grand total to fix my dog’s kidney stones when my dog hadn’t even costed this much money from the day we bought him + maintained him for the past 6 years. Short summary: the doctor of this animal hospital is a passive crook who wishes to get as much money off of you as possible. You’re better off taking your lovely animals to be treated somewhere else. Never will return to this building.
