I've only received great care for my accident prone dogs. They handled the end of life care with great compassion. They even stayed open past operating hours to give us time with our Casper. Best prices I've experienced by far.

Dr. Katherine and staff were absolutely amazing!! We are from out of town and our dog was stung multiple times by hornets/wasps and they got us right in. They were booked full but still took the time. They made us feel comfortable took wonderful care of our girl. The staff loved on her. We could be more thankful!!!

I had been coming to Dr Jen for many years. She’s a wonderful vet. Rita is also a fantastic vet tech!! However last year I made an appointment for my cat to have her an annual and get some flea/tick medicine. They made me an appointment but when I showed up the office manager told me they had dropped me as a client because the prior year we didn’t schedule an annual appointment. The prior year my cat didn’t require any vaccinations or medicine and was in great health. I questioned why they would schedule an appointment if they had dropped me or at least be professional enough to call and tell me. I was incredibly pissed to be treated like that after being a client for years.

I think we have plenty of good vets in Durango. My pets have had the best care at Alpine with Jen and Katie and the staff. So caring and compassionate and you can tell they really love their animals. Now I have a new puppy and everyone had to meet Reggie. It was a warm welcome and since he came from a rescue they do his initial exam for free! Thank you for all that you do!

Estimated/quoted $3,500 to save my dog’s life and then charged $4,700 for a 12 hour stay. Not honest. Not okay to cripple people with debt because they have a sick pet.
