Donated furniture, household items and clothing are just a few of the items you can purchase to help pets. If you would like to schedule a large furniture pick-up, please call (970) 385-4322 . This used to be my absolute favorite spot in town, the perfect place to come after a day of shopping and have so much fun finding little treasures. They used to make such cute displays and everything was priced like a THRIFT store. And then they changed…. I was excited at first with their renovations, but all they did was take the life out of the store and turned it into an overpriced warehouse of antiques. Their prices are so insane now I don’t know how they can still be called a thrift store, the only affordable items are the clothes EVERYTHING else is overpriced. Last time I was in there the kitchen stuff was literally priced the SAME as TJ max charges for BRAND NEW items. I so wish it could go back to how it was, the new update is definitely NOT IT It’s so sad how they got rid of the bigger children’s section too and the wall of kids books is now gone… did they just all get thrown away… sad it used to be such a fun store, definitely won’t be coming as often anymore. The last time I was in there I found a few treasures and had to put them back it would have been HUNDREDS of DOLLARS
Love, love, love this thrift store! Always great finds in this spot! Like these Hamilton Bay Chairs! Yes! Plus proceeds help the Humane Society right next door. So it’s a double win. Might as well walk Nextdoor and adopt a cat or dog!!
I’m so sorry to see the change of the store. It’s like the heart and soul of the place got taken out. It once was a unique and FUN place to browse and support the animals by purchasing. The staff was personable, the arrangement of items was clever and attention getting. Prices were great. Presently with the makeover, it is dull. Much charm and appeal has been taken out. It seems it’s taken years and years to get that place to be so very special and in a week of remodel a wrong turn was taken. Apologies if I’ve offended anyone that’s not my intention, but I don’t know why a fix was made when it didn’t appear anything was broken. In my humble opinion. I think there will be less profit for the animals. I hope I’m wrong.🙏
This used to be such a great place to shop for everything, but especially books. Not anymore! While their book nook was impeccably organized with fun displays like Pick of the Day and novelty books, now it's half of what it used to be, and all the books are shoved in there with no sorting. The kids room was dismantled, and the kids books in a huge bin that you can't shop and the books are getting ruined. Such a shame.
I used to love coming to this store every summer because it was beautifully arranged and felt more like a boutique. This summer something changed. Every time I walked in it looked more and more like a junky thrift store. Plus, every time I went there was less stock than the time before. I guess I will have to make cash donations to help the shelter because I didn't buy anything this summer and I'm worried for the shelter dogs!
Awesome place, great staff, perfect prices, fast turnover of donated items, cute affordable items..for humans, pets, business, and fun - every season! By far the best thrift store in the county, and proceeds go toward the animals associated with the humane society.
