Very good and friendly staff! Excellent service, my dog has never been seen there and we had an emergency today all the other vet places in town wouldn't be able to see my dog until after a week or month! As soon as I called them, they picked up and we were able to come in the same day! Very Affordable. I will be making these guys my primary vet and can't thank them enough for being able to see my dog and I.

Dr. Claire and her entire team truly do personify KINDNESS. We had moved away a couple years ago but had always entrusted Kindness with the care of our sweet old dog who has since passed. We were traveling through Durango when our new dog became very ill. We called Kindness and the reception staff were incredibly caring and understanding. Dr. Claire took our pup that day at 5:00 after seeing a full day of patients, saying "I don't want her to suffer another day" and promptly treated her. We were so desperate, we probably would have paid three times what she charged, but she isn't like the corporate vets who price gouge and charge more than most people can afford. Dr. Clair Lodahl is fair, a talented vet, and most of all she is KIND.

The vet and the techs were all so kind. Everyone that worked there was so nice. After my cat injured his back, we were sent here by a friend. We thought he was going to pass away. The vet was kind but no-nonsense and ended up really working with us because we couldn’t afford a lot, so she was also very practical. She treated him and he started hobbling around whereas, he’d been stationary for a week. Incredible little place. I’d highly recommend them to anyone. Much cheaper than Farmington, also.

No words can Express my gratitude for Dr. Clair here at Kindess Animal Hospital! She took extremely good care of My Cat Onyx Amun-Rah. Her and her team really do show love & and implement kindess to all Animals and Pet parents. Decisions sometimes need to be quickly made when our pets are hurt or sick and as pet parents we may need a hug and support too. Onyx Amun-Rah loves Tik Tok here in Bayou Queen Land & his followers and they are glad he is feeling better so they can see him. If you are looking for love & Kindess from a vet and a good team to take care of your fur baby's then look no further. The best in the Durango & Bayfield and probably Farmington area as well. It's worth the drive! The new clinic is very sterile and clean and just beautiful. It's waiting area is very spacious and full of really neat pictures and things to look at. Friendly staff, affordable compared to most vets in the area and prompt quick care and very attentive Dr & staff. Dr Clair really put alot of love into this place and it's felt when you walk in and with her many years of experience as an amazing vet you can rest knowing your pets are in very good hands! Compassionate and supportive veterinary clinic that we cannot recommend enough. Our needs and concerns are always heard and answered by the staff and Dr. Lodahl. Dr. Lodahl diagnosed and treated a pathogen in our Caribbean cat that is unseen here in Colorado; her knowledge and expertise is unsurpassed by any other vet in the region.
