The Dr's are nice enough. I do NOT recommend using the online pharmacy. First order: delayed so long BY THE HOSPITAL they had to give me a temporary supply. Second order: Told BY THE DR to give BOTH dogs the same prescription. Requests refill and is now denied due to health board laws which I understand. Then don't say that at the appt. When I first called to sort out the prescriptions Stephanie went to put me on hold and hung up on me. When I called back and let her know her response, "I don't know who that was but I am putting you on hold." The entire experience with her was stressful to the point I requested my pets records. Switching vets is a hassle and I'd hate to as my dogs seem to like the vets but the staff needs an upgrade! Lastly lots of reviews say that this place is expensive and IT IS! $50 for a FECAL!

Just had the worst experience at any vet ever! This was our second time taking our dogs here, the first time had been great, so when our 14 year old Bichon fell sick we called them right away. We were told as we didn’t have an appointment there would be an additional charge of $30 in addition to the regular office fee. We got there & were placed into a room right away, but told it would be awhile as we had no appointment. After one hour & 15 minutes my husband went out to reception to remind them we were still waiting. Their reply was “we know”. After 90 minutes we were told our doctor was too busy & we could make an appointment for the next day. I replied that our dog was in distress & needed to be seen now. After one hour 45 minutes we left. The girls in reception were quite rude & tried to blame us for the long wait saying we had asked to see our previous doctor. I just wanted to see ANY doctor!!! We sat in an examination room for one hour 45 minutes with a sick dog AND NO ONE COULD BE BOTHERED TO SEE HIM. On our way out the door, we were told to ‘have a nice day’. I replied that we hoped our dog survived the night. They said we should take him to an emergency vet. Seriously. After we sat there one hour 45 minutes, in an examination room, trying to have him seen by a doctor. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them as they obviously do not care for their patients. 🥲🥲🥲

Dr. Arnold is a wonderful doctor, she has been attending my Yorkshire terrier puppy since she was 9 weeks old. She is very kind, knowledgeable and explains everything in great detail. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Just moved here and was looking for a new vet for my bengal/savannah cats. I read the reviews and decided to come here. Dr. Suzuki was wonderful and my cat was comfortable with her right away. This is the least stressed my cat has ever been in a vets office. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The office is nice, clean, and comfortable. Their prices are way better than my last vet and they run specials. I’m glad I found a great place to take my cats that they actually enjoy going to. Definitely recommend.

We can not say enough about the staff at South Shores. We have been going to them for years, for our older dogs. But recently, our youngest dog, Bentley had serious medical issues that meant we spent a lot of time with this team and the people there. Our dogs love the vet. And Bentley loved them most of all. And I think they loved him just as much. We probably saw every single doctor and vet tech there and we were given the best care, honesty, compassion..all steps were taken to save our boy. The front desk staff are the best people who love our dogs, especially our Bentley and dealing with them during our hardest times and lowest points in our lives. They were accommodating, caring and a lot of fun on top of that. When we had to make the difficult decision to put Bentley to sleep, they were so incredible. They were kind and compassionate from the phone call to the end. I saw the tears in their eyes, too and being with them while we said goodbye to our boy made a horrible process easier. Our boy was a favorite so they even gave him a delicious special donut to send him on his next journey. They made us feel comfortable and loved during a very dark time. We will be forever grateful for this team and they will always be our vet! Thank you to everyone there for loving our boy so much and for loving our other dogs. The feeling is very mutual.

Have taking my kitty here since I got her. Love DrG she's amazing and has helped us a lot. I'm glad she's been mostly her primary because of how helpful she is. When she was still maybe 8 or 9 weeks she got a nose infection, it took trying some stuff but luckily DrG found what she needed. Even got her spayed here. They all love her and she loves them back
