Used to be worthy, no longer. Shame on you , especially; "Professional trainer, des something. She's anything but. In addition the kennels are populated with red zone males. If She's a "professional " I want to see her credentials and those of the person who hired her.

Called to get help finding a place for my Shepherd but never got an answer. Left 2 voicemails no response. They, like every rescue/shelter in the surrounding area, are overfilled, under staffed or volunteered and ill equipped to take on anymore animals. Luckily, my situation worked out and I was able to stay with my best friend. Sad to think how many can't get help. RESPECT for all of you trying and for the ones you do save. Keep up the great work!

You can’t talk to a human until you submit an application. You have to spend $10 to submit the application. Then no one cares to get back to you unless you threaten to report them. If they are sort staffed they should set better expectations in response times or not charge someone to speak to a live person. For a rescue foundation, I have found Kathi and her team to be very disinterested in customer service. It’s unfortunate for the great dogs that need homes.

Veterinarians and other sources have mentioned to stay away from this rescue team. Before I did my own research I tried to adopt one of VGS pups. I filled out an application, called, DM’d on Facebook, commented on Facebook, Instagram, and emailed them again. I never heard back from anyone for 3 days. Once I did hear back, they told me to try adopting from the shelter. Basically a slap in the face given that we have a perfectly setup and loving home for a GS. Our current situation only allows us to adopt a certain type of puppy and at a very young age because of our other dog so that’s why we didn’t turn to the shelter as our first option. After they basically said “F you” to me, I mentioned the rescue to my vet. He told me to stay away from them. They are all "problem" dogs. Need to be careful.

The worst I reached out for help in a stressful and dangerous situation and Julie decided to respond about how HS need to be trained … I told her that in this situation her advice or input was not helpful to reach out to a trainer since I needed to rehome my dog … my husband Will tolerate this behavior with our children in the house responded that she couldn’t help what kind of man I married. Julie Pyle is a Pyle of shit… she works for a rescue but they can’t rescue… she was rude, condescending and needs to find another job or should not volunteer if this job is too much for her.

After starting the adoption process two weeks ago with VSR we finally got our puppy today, I can see why they take the time to vet people, they want to make sure you have the right home, we met Mary thru FaceTime and Desiree at her home where she cares for the dogs, what a great bunch of people, you need to be patient they are short on volunteers but are doing their best. I recommend VSR if you want a Shepherd
