No idea what some of these reviews on on about, I got a nice lady who stayed with me for a moment while looking for my goober big backed dog. Honestly, glad this place exists or I'd feel little to no hope finding my dog. Also here's the dog I lost if you've seen him. His name is rusty with no thoughts behind these eyes.

Had a sweet elderly Pitbull greet me when I got home from work today with no collar and who was obviously malnourished. Called & the nicest lady answered, I believe her name is Kim. I gave as much info as I could and she asked if I could corral the dog in until someone would pick them up. Unfortunately she couldn't give me an ETA but to keep her updated. I was able to reach her twice more to update her as I couldn't keep the guy for too long. And each time she was polite. Someone arrived after 2hrs after my 1st call and picked the sweet guy. I know many here have had negative experiences with animal control, but I'm just grateful this kind of service is available and for this instance help arrived.

I called on a Saturday when the office was closed and received a phone call later that evening to discuss options for an injured duck. I’m pleased at the professionalism and care - they could have waited until Monday.

Tragic - they seriously seem to forget that they work in animal control. The admins responding to you via email must think they're working for WalMart or some other egregious corp who don't feel the need to explain themselves to anyone. They never properly answer your question and by the time you get a reasonable response the "moment to dispatch" - meaning, opportunity to get out and act on the problem - is gone. for now. Absolutely disastrous state agency.

Everyone there was nice, friendly & accomidating. They gave me a cardboard carrier for my cat & a harness & leash for my dog. I'm really glad the officer took them to the Henderson shelter.
