I drove 40 miles each way to have Dr. Chester treat my pet duck. Worth every mile. Thank you Dr. Chester and staff. It was evident from my first visit that this place cares about animals and people. The cost of the entire visit including medicine was less than just an office visit charge at vets near me. They seem to be a busy practice but I understand why they'd have a lot of clients. They're really, really good.

Sweet Mia crossed the rainbow bridge on Thursday, Feb 29th at 6:30pm. That morning, she was taken to Animal Medical Clinic in Jasper to be spayed. They called at 10:30 to say that she made it through surgery, was doing well, and that she could be picked up at 3:00. Then at 3:00, they wanted her to stay another hour because she was “holding on to the anesthesia “. At 4:00, she still was not awake but they sent her home. They said that it wasn’t common but that it happens occasionally and she would be ok. They said to keep her warm and let her sleep it off. Emergency vet thought differently. Unfortunately, she did not live long enough to get her there.

Very helpful and caring staff. Dr. Chester and his team helped with my stubborn American Bulldog Lolo, will be seeing him regularly, even she liked everyone! Also, very affordable.
