My husband and I just adopted our first dog, Daisy, from this humane society! They did an incredible job setting her up for success, with her socialization from playtime with dogs, visits and walks from the volunteers, and dog training programs. While at the shelter, Daisy really had a great chance to bond with some of the volunteers, who all miss her but are so happy for her to have found a family! We feel so incredibly blessed to have Daisy in our little family, the humane society did a great job matching us! She's such an incredible dog, and we love her so much already ☺️❤️ I highly recommend this humane society - they have wonderful animals that are ready to join a new family!

A very fun event. There were several vendors advertising, displaying and selling their products, and it all looked wonderful. It was hard not to pick something up from every booth. The artist that drew the caricatures was fantastic! There were a lot of fun events, contests and giveaways. We especially liked the pictire spots.

Took my daughter to get a kitten. The prices were pretty high, you had to schedule an appointment just to meet an animal. Won't be going back. It's a shame so many dogs and cats that need home

There is nothing "humane" about this place. Long story short we moved into a place not suitable for dogs and called to find out if they had room for my dog in their adoption unit. Over the phone they said "We have lots of room bring her in" I brought my dog in and they said "If it doesn't work out we have to put her down" knowing my dog is typically well behaved I didn't see it as an issue. They told me they wait a few weeks before deciding and would let me know so I can pick her up if they did decide to put her down. That same night (on a Friday) I get a call saying "it's not going to work she is too scared" I asked if she was aggressive they told me no but said I need to call back tomorrow to coordinate a time to pick her up. I called first thing in morning to find that the office would be closed for 3 days. Long story short they rushed to put my dog down because she was scared not aggressive or ill. They mislead me about expectations and gave me no opportunity to get my dog back. This place is an absolute joke!!!

The staff and volunteers are pleasant, and are so good with the dogs. The dogs get walks, playtime, play groups, and enrichment toys and treats. Some get canine good citizen training. Donations of food, supplies, funds, and volunteer time are appreciated and valued. Extra pet supplies are put out front for free to people who can use them.

What an excellent, caring team!!!! We came in, and really appreciated the dedication that we saw in the staff we worked with. Dozer (Cowabunga) is transitioning to his forever home and, aside from needing a little guidance when interacting with our other pup, he's doing great (he's already lost like 10lbs)!!
