I called them because I was worried about a neighbors dog. They listened, were very empathetic and gave me information specifically to ease my mind. I’m so grateful

They don’t actually do anything to help with dogs in your neighborhood that bark for 3 hours straight beginning at 7/8am. And then also on and off from 12am- 4am. They send a letter to your neighbor, your neighbor ignores it and that’s basically it. Then you are told you can take them to court over it which is fine with me, but you have to get 2 other neighbors involved. Good luck with that because everyone is so afraid of everything now that no one will agree to get involved. So I guess if you live in Fairfield your dogs can bark all day and night with no repercussions. I’ve never lived anywhere where essentially NOTHING is done about this. And don’t bother calling non emergency police. They don’t do anything to help either. This city is a joke.

I had a wounded squirrel in my yard and called for help. They were here in a matter of minutes. Very pleasant and showed compassion when the retrieved the little guy. It didn’t look good but at least he won’t be suffering any longer. Natures little blessing. I’ll miss his morning and evening visits to my yard.

My hat goes off to Solano Animal Control employees. They have to save animals from their ignorant owners and deal with the worst of the worst, dead or dying fur babies. I call them when I see an animal in a truck/car when it's above 75*....... It's hotter than that in a vehicle, so get a clue folks! Maybe you should not be a pet parent!!!!!
