This place saved my fur baby’s life. She had a very bad pyometra infection and the doctor took her into surgery almost immediately! She was 13yrs old at the time & They took great care of my baby & were very helpful during recovery! Can’t say enough good things about them.

We have been taking our fur babies here for a few years. Our puppies are our world. We love Doc Y. He takes the time to not only treat your pet, but he also loves on them. Our puppy tore her ACL and Doc Y did an amazing job with her surgery. Dawn was fabulous about taking care of our baby the first night after surgery and Danielle sent pictures of our baby to ease some of our stress and anxiety Tori is always super kind and the guy at the front desk is super nice. So many of them helped us out with answering questions and making us feel cared for. Our baby girl is recovering and will hopefully be herself again soon. We highly recommend this vets office.

My pets are like family to me so I won't just take them to any vet for their care. I have two young cats and 2 senior dogs with health issues. I was recommended this practice by a friend over a year ago and I'm so happy they care for my pets. The staff is always friendly and caring. Even when they are extremely busy they are still polite and helpful. The vets are loving, kind, and don't try to come up with a bunch of unnecessary things for you to pay for to treat your pet. They have affordable prices and provide excellent care. I trust them with my 4 furry family members and would recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality care for their pets.

Doc Weirather is a wonderful vet. He is kind, caring and compassionate and does everything he can to make sure your pet is taken care of. As others have made comments on other reviews and sites, the place could use some fresh paint, etc. but It's an old building. I'd go see Doc Y at a dirty barn if it meant him caring for my animals. He's not a vet to get rich. He truly cares about animals and people and makes his prices affordable. He's also a wonderful surgeon and on most nights is at the clinic until way past dark caring for and seeing patients. If you saw how hard he worked and how exhausted he is on some nights, with still more patients to see, you would be truly touched. I will never forget the kindness shown by doc Y and his staff when my baby Bella needed help. They all showed up on their day off and they did everything they could to save her. Unfortunately she still passed away but I will be forever grateful for their effort. There are no words to express my gratitude. I feel truly blessed to have found this vet, especially being so close to my house and the fact that I have 8 dogs and 2 cats. I wish there were more humans like him. Also, he’s a wonderful role model. My daughter wants to be a vet and she deeply respects him and appreciates and notices his sacrifice and kindness.

This place is the kind of place that CARES and I mean care as in they will do whatever necessary to help they have saved one dog from parvo when he was a pup now he is a big boy and gentle giant and they recently saved my other dog from an infected uterus! I drive from plant city here because I love somewhere that doc Y and this team work late night all the time, take care of our babies like they are theirs. If you are trying to find a place come to north Polk animal hospital cause they WILL care for your babies like their own!
