This past weekend while I was on vacation, my almost 17 yr old puppy became very ill and needed to go to heaven. I called the River Rock animal hospital and they were so comforting. They were able to get us in right away and the receptionist as well as the doctor were so kind. As all animal owners know, the hardest thing is deciding when we have to make the call and this clinic was awesome. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time

My mom called this place today to see if they could help save a stray kitten's life. They were the only place open! We had some hope, but they turned her away and said they're not taking in any new animals today. I'm very confused because I thought the purpose of an animal hospital is to help in emergency situations. Unfortunately, the poor kitten passed away. I wouldn't recommend this place because they weren't helpful whatsoever. This was very devastating for us!

Dr. Love rocks! They are super friendly and explain the care they are giving. Definitely would recommend for any care for your furry babies!! 🐕 😺 Great atmosphere, clean/fresh. Feels comfortable bringing your fur babies here.

Nastiest rude lady on the phone when I called 5 minutes ago inquiring about intro shots & spay for my puppy. Also quoted $600 MORE than surrounding areas who had much friendlier voices about them, safe to say River Rock is won’t be my choice

Dr. Adam’s saw my dog today, on Saturday when my vet was closed and Great Lakes wasn’t able to help me. My Dexter had surgery and some of his stitches popped open. I am so grateful that she took us in, even though it was Saturday and she isn’t even my dogs vet (yet). Not only that, but she seems like a very nice and truly caring vet! Again, thank so very much Dr. Adam’s as well as her staff, which I’m sorry but forgot her name. You were so very sweet!! Thank you!!

2019: Friendly and helpful staff. Helped my family through the loss of our dog. Update 2024: Dr. Adams and the rest of the team are fantastic. My dog is a nervous mess, but she does everything she can to make him comfortable (including laying on the floor to help him be less scared).
