Overall, I found the staff at the animal hospital to be great. However, the walk-in service was quite slow, which was frustrating. The doctor who treated my dog was nice and professional. My dog had a ruptured gland and I needed antibiotics and pain medication. I was charged around $25 per medication and $60 for the consultation. I'm not sure why I couldn't just get the medications without a consultation, but the doctor was helpful and set up a follow-up appointment, which I hope will go smoothly. During the follow-up appointment, the hospital was still busy, but they offered to see my pet without a room and were quick to attend to my pet's needs. I was surprised that they didn't charge me I figured they may just offer a discount for not using a room, but overall, I was impressed with the quality of customer service and care. This experience has made me decide to make this hospital my main veterinary care provider, as it felt like they prioritized quality care over exploiting their customers.
Have been coming here for a really long time, too long it seems as the front desk staff is either incompetent or just doesn’t care. The last several visits have been less and less impressive. Too many people running around behind the desk and you employ argumentative nitwits who dont know anything about services and are comfortable challenging clients about the care of their pets. You saw us for the LAST time today, when after checking in for a scheduled appointment, you helped every other walk in, and “lost” our appointment AGAIN. Can’t believe I gave so many chances. DONE!!!!!
Great vet and staff! My dogs are not easy dogs at the vet. I brought 2 bullies there today for ear infections and they treated my dogs great and handled my dogs with care. The vet (kelsey) also gave me so much information and resources on preventative care. She was phenomenal! My last vet just wanted to sell you all the stuff, but this animal hospital is there to be honest and treat the animals. Highly recommend!
Love this veterinary clinic especially Dr ODonahue. My only complaint is getting my girls heart meds. They are always out. Heart meds should be prioritized and patients shouldn’t be denied or ask to wait a few days.
I had to wait two hours for my cat to see the vet just for them to tell me her hair loss and skin rash was because she was messing with them. Took her to Canyon animal hospital where the vet told me she has food allergies and to change her food she was back to normal in a month. Thanks for nothing Cenntinal animal hospital. I do not recommend this hospital, rude staff and not clean.
what an amazing friendly team. our dog had a huge wound on her snout and our vet wasn't open today so my roommate sent me here in a panic, which is 22 mi away from our house. the vet Jonathan amgar was very attentive and explained it was a dental infection that had gotten out of hand. my vet doesn't charge as much as as most vets for dental surgery, and when I explained that to him he was fine with that. plus he doesn't control the pricing. including the antibiotics the charge was just over $16.
