Edited review: I am editing this review after seeing the condition of where the cats stay on the second dropoff. NEVER AGAIN. The second time I brought my cat, I walked into a wall of pungent urine and wet dog. Red flag, so I asked to see the area he would be staying and it stunk horribly, there was no ventilation, and the "room" he had was essentially a utility room that doubled as storage with dirty enclosures lining the wall. The enclosures themselves were small and sad. I was told some cats had been there for several months as their owners had abandoned them. I had no choice but to leave my cat there for the weekend as I had a plane to catch. When I returned to pick him up, the cat bed and carrier I left him with stunk so badly and strongly I had to put both in the trunk while we drove home and I could STILL smell it on the drive. Sure, the price is good and you can pick up after hours but it is absolutely not worth it ------- Original post: Great price and my cat came back after a weekend alive and reasonably happy. He had a room to himself and was let out everyday to stretch his legs. They fed him according to the schedule I requested and allowed for after-hours pick up for a fee, but well worth it. Good customer service

Our cat was there for 10 days. He was very well taken care of, and my fur parent requests for a photo update were always granted. We were very pleased with the owner Kurt. He had met us at the airport for pickup. Just a very friendly man with a personable and professional manner.

Left our 2 male dogs there for 2 nights. We reserved separate kennels because our younger, more energetic dog sometimes gets a little too excited and rough with our older smaller dog. We went to pick them up and were told their beds had pee/poop on them. While waiting for the person to bring their beds, I took the younger dog outside. He had immediately had diarrhea that was dark red and had blood in it. I asked the person if his bed had diarrhea on it, and she said the bed had regular poop on it. I asked which bed had poop on it, and she said both, so they might have shared beds. I explained that we not only specified having separate kennels but also paid for separate kennels. Both dogs smelled of urine and poop. My younger dog's personality seems sad since picking him up and he still has diarrhea. I think this place should be investigated. The health and welfare of the animals boarding here is not ok.

Late June 2023 we moved from Guam to Arizona. Our 3 cats flew CARGO without us from Guam-Korea-Las Vegas. I contacted Kurt after finding his facility through GOOGLE. He was very helpful and accommodating. A super typhoon delayed their travel and Kurt was always available to chat with us and change the dates to accommodate our girls as needed. A-1 VIP picked them up at the airport, got them cleared to enter the US and boarded them until we could pick them up. Kurt kept us updated through the whole process. We both 100% recommend Kurt and his facility. Thank you for caring for our fur-babies. ❤️❤️❤️

I boarded my two huskies for five days here. The price was reasonable and both the website and most of the Google reviews left a good impression on me. At first when I walked in, everything seemed like it would be fine. My huskies are high energy so they get pretty wound up in new situations. One is fairly skiddish while the other is ready for all of the attention he can get. They took them back and I paid for the five days and left. When I came back to pick them up, the first thing I noticed was a strong smell of pee in the reception area. It took them a moment to bring my boys out and they helped me take them out to the car. Once they got into the car is when I noticed something was wrong. My car was filled with the smell of stale urine. Almost as if they spent their five days laying in puddles of pee and never let out. My oldest was losing his mind the entire way home. Once we got home, my normally bubbly older husky was quiet and did everything he could to stay as close to me as possible. Both dogs were hesitant to eat as well and acted like they've never had water before. My boys have been boarded before. Not at some luxury boarding place or anything and they have never come back to me the way they did. I don't plan on bringing them back to this place. I definitely had higher expectations for great care and was let down.

Seriously disappointed with this place. I was excited to find an affordable boarding facility for my pup while I was out of town for a week, and the place just looked ok when I went to inspect it prior to dropping him off. There was some trash build up outside the facility that gave me some concerns, and some of the runs really are like small prison cells. I called 3 times while my dog Froderick was there for an update since they don’t have cameras, and each time was told he was fine, having fun, etc. When my friend went to pick him up, he had gotten the promised bath and was clean, but was also badly limping. I called the next day and spoke to the guy who checked us in. Of course, he hadn’t noticed anything, and said I’d need to call back in a few days to talk to the woman who worked there when she got back. Called, talked to her, same story - she didn’t remember him limping or getting hurt. Said I’d need to talk to the owner and that she’d have him call me, but it’s now been over a week and I haven’t heard from anyone. So they clearly don’t care about my animal or the fact that he got seriously injured in their care. He’s still limping, and I’ve already spent over $100 taking him to the vet to get checked out and put on ant-inflammatories and pain meds. He’ll probably need x-rays if it doesn’t get better soon. Spend the extra money and take your animals elsewhere. Mine definitely won’t be coming back here.
