The entire staff is kind, caring and passionate. My wife and I spent months looking all over and then we found Lovey. The staff made the process painless. We are very happy with Lovey. Please adopt a fur baby of your own and/or donate. They are unfortunately over full.Thank you for all you do.

A year ago, I adopted a young male black cat. He was very shy and kind of cowered towards the back of his cage with his back turned to everyone. I just knew I had to take him as so many people would overlook him due to this behavior. Hid under the bed for about a week when he first came home. With a lot of patience and love, he's become this amazing little goofball that I just love to bits. Still doesn't like to be held,as such, but loves to use my arm or legs as a pillow or snuggle in close. Changed his name from Keel to Baby, and he's a light in my life. The progress pictures are reversed. The one under the bed is his first photo when he first came home.

Never ever thought i would experience this. I went to this shelter to rescue a dog. I was paired with a great dog but she had to be spayed so i left her. When they called me to pick up the dog it was a different dog. I explained to them that it was not the same dog. They swore it was but i knew it wasn't . I took the dog anyway and regretted it every since. I eventually got rid of the dog. Double check your dog if you're not leaving with it the same day. The first dog is the one i wanted. I second one is the one i got.

I absolutely love, Dr. Gina. She has been taking care of my oldest baby, Griselda since I got her 3 years ago. My baby is happy and healthy. Dr. Gina and her staff are very informative, professional, supportive and thorough. For this reason she will now have my new baby, Hannibal-Lecter for his lifetime with me. I will forever support the Humane Society.

I recently had a wonderful experience at the Humane Society when I took my dog, Boudreaux, to get fixed. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, patiently answering all of my questions and showing genuine care and love towards my fur baby. We were so please with the care of our Snowball. She was spayed at the clinic. Everyone was so knowledgeable and caring, very kind. Made us feel very good about leaving our pet. We genuinely appreciate that.
