Dropping by here to say a big thank you to Dr. Hankerd and her team for helping me care for my beloved senior dog Lucy, who I had to sadly put down around the beginning of this month. I appreciated Dr. Hankerd’s patience, transparency, and her also taking the time on educating me on how I can give the best care for Lucy at her age. Instead of feeling anxiety from adopting and taking care of a senior dog, Dr. Hankerd showed me that they’re actually great little companions as I loved Lucy so so much. I received a card from the Auburn Animal Hospital team after Lucy’s passing and I was sincerely touched. I needed it, especially after enduring these last few weeks without my little Lucy. Will definitely be bringing my next pup back to Dr. Hankerd when I’m ready!

I took my cats Stanley and Selena here for their medical needs and also boarded them here whenever I went away. They were wonderful with the cats and when it came time to say goodbye after 19.5 years (due to advanced kidney disease) they were sensitive and supportive. I brought my daughter’s cat here last year and “accidentally” came home with their foster cat they were caring for, a few days later. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again when I bring “Jay”, now Hartley, in for his checkup with his bestie, Elliott.

We were so so SO happy with Auburn Animal Hospital’s Dr. Hankerd and her staff’s authentic care! We have tried two other vet clinics prior to and never received the love and attention which we did there! Doctor and staff were precise, gentle and quick with scheduling, administering shots, loving on our pup and educating us on a few topics. The clinic was easy to find, clean and cozy. I HIGHLY recommend taking your fur babies there! They even sent a Thank You card and magnet💖

The staff was very kind and knowledgeable when I brought an older cat in for a spay. I moved around a lot and never had a dedicated vet for either of my cats, but I think I found one!
