What they expect us to eat every day and every other time. Hardly any fresh fruit and eating leftovers instead of freshly made food.
This review comes from 5 months of direct experience receiving services. On the operations level, this org demonstrates overt gang affiliation across lower level employees as well as upper management. Gross intimidation against select clients in connection with domestic sex trafficking operations in the United States. Grotesque social violence. No excuse for it, they should be ashamed of themselves so they might restore accountability and choose honest, moral, healthy social behaviors. The fact that this has been allowed in this facility raises questions about accountability structures that SHOULD have fixed the problem a long time ago, particularly local law enforcement. I leave this review with grief, not joy.
Staff is great here I'm here for the time being working on getting an apartment
I asked them if I could contribute to working on their property with 30 years of maintenance. They said they don't hire within which was a flat-out lie because they've got several slaves. My $600 phone was stolen and they called the police on me, and booted me, NOT the thief. WWJD ?
Very nice place and very friendly staff. If you follow the rules all will go well for you. Treat the staff with respect! They're your friends, not your enemies. Make your bed, do your chore. Don't eat in the bunk. If you're really looking to get off the street, the mission can help you, but you have to be willing to help yourself. Very good people!
I’d like to direct this review specifically to those looking to make a conscientious contribution to what they believe is a worthwhile cause. I can assure you with absolute certainty that you can find far greater altruistic, benevolent endeavors to give your monies to. Not only does this place lack a modicum of compassion for those it seeks to serve, but treatment of those individuals and families is downright cruel. It’s unfortunate that those in need have limited resources and thus, are forced to endure the prison-like conditions - and that’s not hyperbole. Even more shameful is the fact this facility masquerades as one driven by Jesus Christ and his teachings.
