I lost my Baby girl Nena a month ago, still feels unreal! ='( In the mist of the loss and pain I've been going through, I truly couldn't have asked for a greater Cardiology Team to take care of my baby. Even though making the choice of putting her to sleep was the hardest, The quality of her life was always my upmost priority. Dr. Nick Schroder's expertise and knowledge, always thinking outside of the box, always speaking directly no beating around the bush, modifying meds to her needs, is what extended my dear companions life for almost 3 years. I am blessed to have had her so long!!! In moments of crisis, (Which were in the last 6 months of her life) Diana and Edgar were my go to, my angels on earth, they both truly comforted me as if I was family and loved Nena as their baby as well. Both Diana and Edgar were patient, kind, caring and knowledgeable, always explaining with clarity and giving suggestions. They comforted me and always let me know they were just a phone call away. In a moment where you can't think straight and emotions are at an all time high, they were my go to, always showed genuine love and cared for me and Nena! I can't thank God enough for such an Amazing A team!!! Even though it wasn't easy the 3 years, I am eternally grateful to Dr. Schroder and his excellent team, thank you for giving the best and excellent care for my baby and for always comforting me in the moments I have felt the weakest in my life. I will always have a special place in my heart for LeadER and the pure excellence of the Cardiology Team. Just a Phenomenal group! I'm blessed to have had Nena 11 wonderful years, full of the most unconditional true love I've ever felt. Miss you my sweet NENA! Always and Furever!

Renee sent us photos and updates throughout the day which helped ease our minds. Dr. Horgan also personally called after surgery. We felt comfortable leaving Stella with LeadER and would recommend them to family and friends.

I’m still in shock at the horrendous experience we had at this place. Needless to say, our beloved Poppy should not have died. If they read this, yes you know who we are. They know what they did and didn’t do. At no time did a doctor come into the waiting room to speak with me other than her initial evaluation before being admitted. Which, let’s face it, was more about the bill. I repeatedly asked to speak with Poppy’s internist- never happened. I understand that the doctors are busy but I needed to know the plan going forward as I was supposed to go out of town and needed an update before I made my decision. No doctor called me until the next morning and I had already left. So had to drive 4 hours back home after that conversation. At one point I was told I had taken up too much of their time with my questions and that there were critical patients they had to deal with. Front desk night manager- your attitude and tone was appalling, you shouldn’t be dealing with the public, let alone stressed out, upset pet parents- stay in the back away from emotional situations you can’t handle with empathy. They are heartless monsters who didn’t listen, or should I say act, on any of my requests, questions and pleas. Thus, she was not given the care, meds and food she needed. They said she wasn’t eating so I took in chopped boiled chicken but the food in her cage wasn’t even hers, it was a wet sloppy mess of dry food that had expanded like when left in liquid too long. I fed her her normal food and the chicken and she ate it. I should point out too that at one point I had to ask for them to fill her bowl of water as the minuscule amount in there was negligent. Absolutely no continuity between the front and back. Definite disconnect when relaying information to go in her notes. Notes didn’t match the conversations I had with the doctors. Two hours before her passing, the vet on call called me, no urgency in her voice, just to go over the plan for the next day. You didn’t realize she was dying until 4 minutes before she passed away?!!! Your call for me to come be with my girl at the end was too late. I hate you. Who sends home with an hysterical mother who’s just lost her whole world, a bag full of tubes etc that they obviously used at the end. That memory will be with me forever. Please stop sending your oh so fake condolence cards, it’s sickening. Let’s not forget that she was hospitalized a few weeks before with the same symptoms. Sent home after 2 nights with no diagnosis and no meds. But, of course, a huge bill. Every few days I will update this review so that it always stays at the top as a warning to anyone considering using this place.

I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this exceptional establishment. When my dog (Pompi) suddenly experienced shortness of breath and his tongue turned blue during a visit to his primary doctor, I was panicked. He required immediate oxygen therapy and was referred to LeadER, where he could receive the necessary supervision for at least 24 hours. From the moment we arrived at LeadER, I was overwhelmed by their professionalism and compassion. They promptly provided me with an estimate of the treatment costs and explained that my pompi would likely need to be hospitalized for 48 hours. However, to my relief, he was discharged earlier than expected, and they even refunded a portion of our deposit as the total cost was significantly less than initially estimated. Throughout his stay, I received regular updates and photos, which alleviated much of my anxiety. The doctors consistently kept me informed about his progress and treatment plan. When I arrived to cpick up Pompi, the staff were incredibly supportive and attentive. I am immensely grateful to LeadER for their exceptional care and for ultimately saving Pompi's life. If you ever find yourself in need of an emergency vet, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Where do I begin? I’ll start by saying that my doggo tore her ACL. From there, my whole experience – from meeting with Dr. Horgan, going over the surgery plans and procedures with his team, to interactions with the rest of LeadER’s staff. Overall, my experience with LeadER was so wonderful that I applied to work there, and now it’s been a great month! I’m so happy and proud to be a part of this amazing team that LeadER has formed over the years 🩷 P.S. Zoey’s surgery incisions are barely noticeable or even visible to the eye! Dr. Horgan could be a plastic surgeon! 👨‍⚕️

5 stars, without hesitation. Why should you trust my review? Well, unfortunately for me (and my dachshund) I’ve been here 3 times for emergency surgeries in the past 4 years :( Each time I’ve seen nothing but competence, compassion, and professionalism. Is it cheap? No. But try scheduling a surgery with a regular vet: months, weeks, or days out if you are lucky. For the most recent surgery, I got a quote from a vet ER in Utah. More expensive, and they didn’t even give me a real quote, just a single 5 figure line item, no explanation of what costs what. I booked a ticket for me and my pooch that night so I could take her to LeadER. There are a lot of 1 star reviews here, so this is my theory: expect they will do their best, but sometimes they can only do so much. The doctors are not magicians or wizards, just highly skilled medical professionals. Also, it’s not a charity, it’s a business. They have a team of top notch professionals working 24 hours a day. The first surgery my dog needed happened on a Sunday night. They woke up a neuro surgeon at 2 AM to operate on my dog. And they have to pay all these people, and they have to purchase and maintain their equipment, and all the other expenses they have running a 24 hour operation, so yes, they are going to ask for a form of payment, take deposits, have you settle up balances, it’s how they stay in business and continue to provide the service they do. So, not sure what else I can say. Don’t hesitate to go here, because not only is it the best vet ER clinic in the area, it could be the best in the country.
