I have been taking my dog here for years. She is a rescue coming from an abusive past and was terrified of almost everything. Since coming she has gained so much confidence and absolutely loves it. When we turn down Erie she generally starts to lose it, whining, barking and wagging her tail excited to get out and go play. I trust these guys with my dogs life and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good daycare to take their fur baby!

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences for both of my dogs here. They love going to daycare, and I truly feel like the staff cares about them. There is no where else in town that lets you drop off and pick up so flexibly! We love them!!

Mandy just loves coming here to see all of her friends. The staff goes outta their way to make sure all the dogs are happy & enjoy being here. Thank you for helping not only Mandy but myself as well.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 0 I WOULD. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! When I came to pick up my dog I happened to park on the side and I was able to see the back where all the dogs were playing. One of the workers named Becca came out of the back door( the one with mid length straight black hair ) to grab someone’s dog. The dogs were doing what dogs do and were jumping on the door to get in. The lady couldn’t get in so she GRABBED A DOG BY THE SCRUFF lifted it up and literally threw it, the whole time she was doing that the dog was yelping and crying in pain. The worst part about it is that she did this to two other dogs as well. When you take your dog to a daycare or anywhere where they offer dog services, you shouldn’t have to worry or even think about someone abusing your dog or any dog in general. Even though none of the three dogs were mine, one of them could’ve been and just thinking that gets me upset. Things like this make you wonder what else goes on here when nobody is there or when they think no one is watching. It also makes you wonder how often stuff like this happens. This same woman always has an attitude when I go there but I never thought much about it until now. If you really don’t like your job that much to the point where you literally ABUSE THE DOGS YOU ARE PAID TO WATCH then DO EVERYONE AND FAVOR AND QUIT. I’m NEVER taking my dog back here and I’m NEVER EVER RECOMMENDING this place to ANYONE. It’s such a shame to have witnessed something like this especially since you’ve been taking your dog here for the past 2 years. I doubt that all the employees here abuse dogs like that, but even just one dog abuser like Becca is one too many. The fact that my dog has been going here for 2 years makes me hope that my dog hasn’t been a victim of this cruel and sickening woman. I’ll be sure to warn more people about this place because it’s just straight out outrageous and no dog deserves that type of treatment.

5 stars all around!!! I am very paranoid/anxious about where/who I leave my dog with. Nova is very high energy and almost overly friendly. During the meet and greet, they assured me she would be fine at daycare. (Sometimes she is friendly to the point of pushy with other dogs) I have done the daycare option multiple times and my dog always comes back EXHAUSTED. That's A LOT for her since she has endless energy. I have also boarded a couple days when I went on a trip and I called to check in on her. They were happy to give me an update and answer all my questions. They are VERY patient and respectful which I really appreciate. Even when you can tell they are exhausted (as running a daycare can be tiresome), they still give it their all. If you are considering daycare, I would 100% recommend the package deal! I really love Deb, Jim, Melissa, and they have another helper I forget the name of. They truly enjoy what they do and I can't wait to bring my dog back! Jim creates all of the toys for the dogs in his workshop and it was really cool to see.

EXTREMELY unprofessional. I am a first time dog owner who knows nothing about “hot spots” dogs can get. I picked up my 6 month baby puppy there last week and she had 2 big scabs around her collar. Which were likely due to her filthy collar (which got filthy here at Barks on the Blvd) I mean to the point you can’t even see the bright blue it was! Being frantic, I posted to social media pictures and concern as the place was closed. A staff member saw my post, commented without informing she was a staff member who cared for my dog telling me about hotspots. So being informative was fine and actually appreciated But instead of taking that opportunity to be professional with her customer she went behind my back bad mouthing me to another friend that wrote on the status, requesting that he don’t tell me she works for Barks. Weird!!!! What was she trying to hide? She called me a liar and said I was “probably lying so much because my dog couldn’t stay one more night” when I was obviously writing because I was upset and confused!!! These “hotspots” if thats even what they were are huge and ugly, almost resembled a bite in my eyes but I guess more people thought it looked like a burn. Vet said which I have in writting that it was probably from “horseplay with another dog” And the daycare was closed for the night. So instead of calling barks as planned the next morning to inquire about what happened, I woke up to this nonsense from a staff member!!!! So maybe nothing did happen there but unfortunately they have an extremely immature, SNEAKY and unprofessional individual who is a main care taker of the dogs mind you representing them. Is that the kind of people you want watching your beloved fur babies?!Can’t really trust to get truthful answers when that is the kind of people you have running it. I was also called a horrible customer. Lol. Which is comical. Such a bad customer, I haven’t even asked for my money back after this horrid traumatic experience.
