What a great place! The animals here are so fortunate to be in this amazing home with humans who truly care for them. Many have traumatic stories from before they lived here but their lives now are full of love and the best care. The humans who work here,, and the volunteers are incredible. Such a worthy charity to sponsor, Jameson Humane.

What an AMAZING team of heroes! I took my dog to the ER and they said she has foreign objects all through her stomach and intestines. The surgery was going to be $10k. I made the difficult decision to put her down and they said I should apply for help at JH. They saved her life and did the surgery the next day (a Sunday) for a tiny fee. I am forever grateful to this amazing vet, Dr Winson, and her team of angels. She even did the surgery with a broken finger because she knew my dog would die if she did not step up! I wish there were more people in the world like her!

First off let me say I am homeless not worthless nor is my dog. I went to an event at Kennedy Park called breakfast in the park was promised vet services on site. When it was my turn for services with the vet somebody brought in another dog that was obviously sick. Being the dog mom I am of course I moved aside and let the vet take care of this obviously sick dog rather than getting my dog his shots, also they didn't have all the shots he needed. Later in the day I was asked to meet back at Kennedy Park on what I thought was Sunday but when nobody showed up Sunday I assumed it was Monday I had the wrong day. Nobody showed up Monday either. I tried to call once I figured out the veterinary Care name, but they were not accepting phone calls. So I sent two emails, only got one automated response. When I finally got a response yesterday. I got an excuse I'm so sorry our vet was out with a migraine. I'm homeless not phoneless they had my phone number they could have called and rescheduled. I ended up staying at Kennedy Park 2 days waiting for them to no call no show I understand I was not paying for services as I am homeless and this was an event for homeless people, however that does not make me worth less than any other client they made a promise and didn't even have the decency to call to tell me they couldn't make it that day. I am one of the homeless trying to get my pardon my asterisks sh** together I meet with case managers, doctors, housing on the regular, my time is important too. Now to end a long story on a good note, I did manage to find my dog Blade the veterinary care he needed elsewhere.

Amazing staff and Dr. Winson was top notch. They were professional, knowledgeable, caring and responsive to follow up emails. I couldn't be more pleased with the service they provided me and my fur baby in a time of need. Gold star!
