Best Vet Care in Napa, Dr. Jeff and his staff have always been there when we needed them. When our senior dog, Loba, was finally located up at Berryessa after being lost for 5 days, he and his staff examined her before we headed to the Emergency Clinic since she could not use her hind legs. She has since passed, and Dr. Jeff made a donation in her name to UCD. Since then they have continued to thoughtfully care for our remaining senior dog and newly adopted dog. I had tried several vet clinics in the area before settling on Napa Valley Vet and I am very pleased with my choice.

Lucky me and for my miniature schnauzer, Ella, to have found a wonderful, competent veterinarian practice. Every single person who works here is kind, friendly and treats us like they are glad we are here. Don' hesitate to trust your furry friends health and happiness at Napa Valley Veterinary Hospital.

I cannot sing my praises of this office loud enough. We had several really bad experiences at other veterinary clinics around Napa before finally finding Napa Valley Veterinary Hospital. We were treated with such kindness and respect and so were our dogs. This was the first office we visited where it felt like people actually liked animals. Green flags all around. Dr. Northrup is such a pro and he clearly takes pride in hiring the best people to work with him. Pet care is always going to be expensive but we felt this was a massive deal given our treatment and the quality of the work provided. We are thrilled to have found them!

Big fan of the staff here! Super helpful and patient. They answered all of my questions and took great care of my big dog with some vet anxieties. Appreciate their care for our furry friends in Napa!

Dr. Jeff was so gentle and careful with our cat Pepper, who went in for a check-up and evaluation of his drippy eyes and itchy ears. He did not recommend anything that was not absolutely necessary. Very impressed with his treatment.

Dr. Northrop had been our vet for 10 years. We will now be taking our pets elsewhere. Until recently, we've found Jeff to be professional, attentive and a good medical provider. However, the last year our oldest dog battled cancer and we found our dealings with his practice difficult, at times unprofessional and that sense of caring we relied on for years was missing. Having to follow up several times for test results, medication refills difficult to get on time. Neglected return calls for over a week. Curt office staff. Lack of essential notes in our dog's records. Lastly as we got closer to the tough decision of euthanizing our sweet girl we needed Dr. Northrop's advice and guidance, Jeff never responded to my call, nor my emails. At a difficult and crucial time he was unresponsive. I understand, to a point, things can fall through the cracks, but even after sending a follow up email expressing my disappointment in his lack of care at the end of her life and that we made that tough decision on our own - I was never contacted. If this last year is a reflection of Dr. Northrop's new practice I would never recommend him.
