In this instance, I experienced patience and friendly professionalism. No inane demands except a healthy home is provided for the cat. I wasn't pressured with political agendas and passive aggressive behavior as the Humane Society exhibits currently. This baby girl, Holly Jolly, found a home after going through the wringer of homelessness, pregnancy and a bad cold. We cleared her sinuses more after she came to her new home. I appreciate 🙏 your service SCRAPS!

There are issues with administration that are completely valid regarding the euthanasia of many dogs here at scraps, but I don't believe that these issues with the top 2-3 decision making employees are representative of this organization. Minus one star for administration being horrible and needing to be replaced. The remaining stars are to recognize the employees and volunteers that work here and truly do love and care for these animals. I adopted my sweet boy from scraps two months ago and I look forward to many years to come with my new best friend ❤

Now a kill house. Too bad they can't get with the times. My buddy came from Memphis for God's sake... Your place is no longer a adoption place because your administration can't see past their own pocketbooks. Spend your advertising budget on the animals. .

We have adopted several animals from SCRAPS and have had nothing but great experiences each time. The staff are extremely helpful and are very eager to help one adopt one of their fur balls.

I didn't adopt, but i checked in on available cats, which there were only a few of (not a bad thing) - you should always check them out to see if the next cat that chooses you is there. The people there are all hard-working (most volunteers so make sure to thank them when you go). Also they have *many* dogs there in dire need of love (I'm allergic). Rescues are the best breed

The city needs to fund a differant animal shelter. I called monday morning about a stray dog I found scared and hiding in some bushes. It only took us 10 minutes to get him to let us pet him. He would have been easy to pickup. It's now Tuesday at 8pm and if he is still there.. Tomorrow I will have to see if they will let me bring him to them. Based on past experiences, I'm guessing it won't be that easy. Not to mention because he was so scared and nippy before you gave him a few treats. I'm also scared they will put him down for this normal, scared dog behavior. That's become their MO. How do we not have any other options? Update: After 5 days a good citizen picked him up and is fostering him for the 30 days. Scraps never picked him up, I called everyday. They didn't share resources for foster options, I got those from spokanimal. While I was on the phone with them, they also mentioned, that scraps is the reason they are over full also. They have been using them for over flow. So not only are they not efficiently managing the city's stray animal problem, they are also clogging up our other shelter options with the animals they can't find homes for.
