Amazing experience with New Hope Animal Shelter. Adopted Remi roughly a month ago, and she is now apart of our family. Staff was knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. Would absolutely adopt here again.

After losing both my Papa and my 11 year old pitbull to heart attacks a month apart I wasn't sure if I could handle adopting another dog but I'm definitely glad I gave this big goofball a shot. He is such a sweet, cuddly boy, very protective of me and my kids so far...the squirrels in my yard don't stand a chance against him!! 😅 We definitely are loving life with him and look forward to all the adventures together. The employees at New Hope were great as well all very caring and friendly. They even gave me some steps to help the big boy get in the car easier. I highly recommend anyone interested in getting a pet to go check them out! #DontShopADOPT 🩷

Went to New Hope Shelter in DeLand FL today and was very pleased with the care cats and kittens are given. All cats and kittens looked healthy and well fed I was able to hold and interact with all the cats and kittens.My Son took me and he was very impressed with the way the staff let the kittens and cats roam free around the cat room . We found a precious little four months old female black and white kitten with green eyes and extra toes I'm hoping to bring her home Friday.

I went to see and I got rescued by this sweet girl, Kenna Bear, and she's a dream. Everyone at the facility was incredible and informative. I'm glad she has her forever and always home right here in my arms. Thank you New Hope workers and volunteers for knowing her so well. I hope this brings you joy knowing she's safe and happy!

A shelter that needs more funding and support. The staff were great and enjoyable to speak with. We were able to adopt Petunia and give her a new home. They also gave me a doggy bag which I thought was wonderful. It had lots a great things such as, food, leash, toys, a blanket, and more. Great place, doing great work, taking care of less fortunate animals.

This place and the employees love the animals. If you’re going to adopt a dog this is the place to do it. They also have cats. I adopted a little dog named Biggie. McKenzie was the person who helped me. She was very kind and explained everything. I will be making a donation to this shelter as soon as I’m able to.
