I foster and have rescued from this animal rescue. I have had no issues. Everyone has been so supportive, passionate, and helpful. They are 100% volunteer based. So the people walking around helping animals all have jobs outside of caring for the animals. Truly a great group of people. This is not an animal shelter, they do not euthanize their animals. Please understand space is limited. They can only help other animals if fosters are available. Animal shelters and rescues are different things. Rescues do not have an animal intake area. The space is limited. Townships also put a limit on how many dogs you can have on site.

I have volunteered and fostered for them and they are such a great organization. Very easy to communicate with and very informative. They are absolutely amazing at making sure every dog goes to the perfect home. Can't say enough good things about this rescue!!!!!

Wouldn’t work with me on finding my forever dog, but rather sent me to other animal shelters to not have to assist with me? I assume because I am 24 years old is the only thing I can think of. I mentioned I had an emotional support certificate and supplied photos of my residence, but after one dog she pushed me onto other places. Good job for nothing. Still have email receipts.

Was looking for a sanctuary for one of my dogs. They were VERY RUDE. Everyone else has been super nice about trying to find the right place for this dog and very helpful. But they were judgmental and rude. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all👎.

An amazing place for rescues. Here are pictures of our Sadie Lynn from Speranza and OMG, she's so lovable. Loves to snuggle but once in her comfort zone she snores with the best of them. Can't recommend Speranza enough. I was particularly amazed with their application process, very thorough and this was the deal maker for us. If you can't handle the application process, adoption isn't for you. Sorry, I had to say it! Thank you Speranza for all you do for the animals in your care.

We adopted our missing puzzle piece to our family- the most beautiful little gray ittie bittie pittie! Everyone at Speranza were incredible to work with, helpful beyond words, they volunteers were such a vital part in our adoption journey!
