Dr. Campbell was absolutely amazing and I cannot thank her enough. She was so kind, so thorough, and explained everything. She even had us do 2 follow-up appointments, just to make sure he was healing properly and that the issue was diagnosed properly. I am so grateful and appreciate Dr. Campbell more than she'll ever know! (Progress pics from his Salivary Mucocele issue after Dr. Campbell had him on correct meds... look how happy he is after our last follow-up! Prior to our visit, another vet misdiagnosed it as a tooth abscess)

I was recommended Durango Animal Hospital by family members who had taken their cat there a few times. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I went for my cat's vaccinations as I called the day and was seen within the hour! However, multiple times now I have called the day of and have had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. Don't get me wrong, I understand I don't have an appointment but that's because they don't take any appointments or if they do they're a month out. I don't mind the wait as they send you a link to see how many people are in front of you in their queue BUT once you get sent a message that you're nearing the top of the list you can no longer see the queue. I heard them mention this is a bug but it's so inconvenient especially when I am taking work off to take my pet to the vet. I head to their office once I get this message and still have to wait 2+ hours. I went recently as my cat has been having a gagging issue and was never given an actual diagnosis. Instead they kept him over night, fasted him (no food for 15 hours), and put him on an IV. They stated he appeared better and happier but the issue persisted once we got home. Durango called me later that day and I informed them that he was still gagging and they said they would pass this along to the vet. I assumed they would give me a call to check in since my cat is still not okay but I have yet to hear from them after almost a week. I've decided to take my cat to another vet for a second opinion and they made me a same day appointment at an exact time with a specific vet. While I have had some good experiences with Durango and they have helped my family's pets on a few occasions, the bad has overshadowed the good for me and that is why I'm deciding to leave.

Best animal hospital we’ve ever been to! We even want to switch from our primary vet (which is much closer to us) to Dr. B! We truly appreciate the level of service and attention he provided us and our cat. We just came in for an emergency because this place was the only one that was able to take us as a walk in on a Saturday so early in the day, but now that we know how great this place is, we will gladly switch. We loved that we were able to get a free exam 10 days later to make sure our cat’s eye was healing properly. We’ve never been offered this before! Thank you so much for helping her get better.

Since our first visit, we have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of the medical staff. As well as their fun and goofy side when it comes to interacting with our dogs. They are all extremely helpful, and informative. We absolutely love, Dr. Martinez and Dr. B. We’ve had the same wonderful blonde vet tech whose name escapes me but she is just so sweet and caring as well always giving my boy big hugs love. We are so grateful our dogs are so excited to come every time, they literally pawing at the doors and crying each visit to get into the offices. That’s how we can judge how wonderful the staff is and how comfortable they make our pets. It is a complete peace of mind to know that they are in the best care possible. Even after our Smokey boy had surgery they answered every phone call, question, and worry (and I worry a lot) promptly and kindly. If you take your pets here I promise they’re in the very best hands. ❤️

My experience at Durango animal hospital was awesome. The staff is very friendly. My cat went in for a spay and they took great care of her. I found the pricing for the services here to be a lot more reasonable than many of the other vets I called or have been to. I will definitely be bringing my animals here now for their vet services
