We love RoxPaw! Convenient location for us living in Roxborough. The staff (Tisha, Jenny, Allie) and Dr. Van are so friendly and kind. My dog and I have been frequent visitors due to health issues. I feel my concerns are heard and reassured with game plans to alleviate the issues we are seeing. There has been no issues with getting an appointment in a timely manner and the office has been super accommodating even when we need surprise visits. Additionally, we were in a pinch for prescription food on a weekend and Dr. Van was able to help out. The care that has been put into my dogs is why I am leaving a 5-star review. Highly recommend! Thank you for all that you do!
Compassionate Care and Expertise. I was greeted by a friendly staff. The vet was incredibly thorough and compassionate during the examination, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions. I truly felt like they genuinely cared about my pet's well-being and in no manner rushed. Highly recommend.
It’s been a week and I wasn’t going to write a review but It felt unsettling as I don’t want others to go through this. I brought my dog in because his left leg stopped working. They told me to leave him for 3 hrs which didn’t sit right with me. During those 3 hrs I didn’t get any updates. They told me they were going to do some X-ray as they think it was his disc that ruptured. I came into the vet and I can hear my dog crying and barking (sounded super raspy) I can tell he was crying for hours and had no water. They brought him out and he looked worst than when I left him. They told me he in fact didn’t ruptured his disc (good news) but they think he had a stroke. They told me they gave him a shot for his anxiety/ pain. I asked them well did they give him any shot for his stroke? They told me they wanted me to come in to get approval for that.. it really didn’t make sense to me as 3 hrs have gone by and they gave him a shot for his anxiety without approval but not for his stroke?? They could have called me. They handed me him gave me no instruction no plan of what to do next. Didn’t send me home with any papers on what they did to him that day. I had to email them to ask, they said they would send it to me but I received nothing. I found another Vet and the vet had to call them for the reports. Thank god I went to a second vet for a second opinion. I basically was charged around $500 for them to not have an answer or any plan for my dog. They literally handed me him and didn’t say anything. At least tell me what my next steps should be or where I can go from here. Keep in mind I was the last patient, I left feeling hopeless and rushed out the door. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Edit: from owner response, minus one email from you after I messaged about discharged paper so I can give to new vet and another email after my review. Also if there is a camera in room please provide that to me in which you all gave instruction on what to do next. If by chance I was so distraught and didnt hear anything I will take this review down. I’m sorry but the whole time I was dumbfounded as I was sitting there waiting to see what I can do next but there was no instructions. If the excuse was that there was no previous health history which is the reason why you couldn’t help. Please know our new vet did everything that they can even with no history and he is recovering really well. Accountability and having employees that actually love dogs will help your business.
Our pup needed TPLO (acl) surgery. RoxPaw was recommended for the TPLO2Go by a local vet. When I reached out Jenny was very friendly & attentive to our needs. From the information she provided when scheduling the surgery, throughout the process of the surgery, everything went smoothly. We were given all of the information needed for our pup to receive treatment & recovery in the best way possible. We drove 1.5 hours just to have her surgery with RoxPaw to ensure she received the best possible care. We are very happy with everything. Once our pup recovers from her right leg, we will be looking to schedule her left leg's surgery. We are very happy with everything from RoxPaw!
I'm leaving this review for future people that want to take their animals into this location. My best friend was taken from me due to improper procedure's. My heart is broken. I'll never be the same without her in my life.... She was taken from me too soon
My dog has had 2 TPLO surgeries here for his hind legs. He is doing amazing after 10 days of his second surgery. The first time was exactly the same he recovered extremely well, reason why I didn’t hesitate to get his other leg right away. Dr. Jenny and all the staff always take care of my dog and comunícate with me extremely well.
